LSU

One of my favorite tailgating memories was a bunch of LSU fans yelling “Tiger Bait!” at us from 50 yards off and kept yelling at us until we got right up to them. Then some old dude said “ah we jus playin getchyall’s asses in heya and getsum jambalaya!”

West Virginia. Deep fried turkey, firecracker shrimp, bbq and free beer. Nicest strangers I’ve ever met.

In the SEC, for me, it was @Arkansas, @LSU, and @Ole Miss.

LSU fans will invite opponent fans to share some fantastic food and drink. Arizona State fans treated and fed us well when we went there and we returned the favor when they came to Athens. Oklahoma State fans were very friendly in restaurants and bars and in the stands. They were amazed we traveled that far for the game.

Best tailgate I’ve been to was at LSU with a BR work buddy prior to a GA LSU game. I’m not sure what I ate but it was an awesome spread.

At the UGA game in Athens one year.

There was a tent set up for donors that some group was sponsoring food for them. A buddy and I got to talking to some Georgia fans and they asked us if we were hungry.

You had to have a pass to get into the food tent. They went in there and loaded us up some plates with barbecue, beans, taters, cole slaw, corn on the cob, and dessert. They even brought out some sweet tea to drink. The food was great. They were doing the barbecue right there beside the tent. It was all hot and fresh.

Just some random people I will never see again being nice to visiting fans. I give the Georgia fans here a hard time, but I've always thought they got a bad rap about treating people bad in Athens. I've been several times and I have been treated great every time. Sure, I've been barked at, but that's just part of being an opposing fan.

I had some really good food before a few Arkansas games. We tailgated in the parking lot just above the stadium with some UA alums. It was fantastic.
