Points?? Good Lord, even the rational UT fans are baseball ignorant.

Well the most points scored in each period adds up to a winning score, right?

It’s absolutely true. The starters only gave up 4 earned runs all weekend. The bullpen only gave up 1 earned run all weekend. UT was missing 2 starters, one of which in one of the top SS in the country. Once Merritt and Ahuna are both in the lineup the offense will get better with every game.

If you asshats were as good as your preseason chest beating you shouldn’t have needed the 2 players that were out. Hell we had one of our best players get hurt in the first inning of Fridays game. His replacement came in and hit 2 HR’s and hit over .500 the weekend.

That’s what people don’t understand about this LSU team this year! We are deep as hell on the Bench and the bullpen. We have to be top 3 in depth in the country! This team is built for Omaha if I have ever seen one

And you have no idea how long it's going to take before Ahuna is cleared.

My sources tell me he will be on the lineup this weekend. It’s purely administrative. Take it to the bank.

Tennessee lost all 9 bats from their starting lineup last year. I know you don't want to consider it, but you're going to take a step back when something like that happens.

I understand UT is replacing all its positions players from last year. I also understand they will not win 57 games this year either. They can take a step back from last years team and still be good enough to win the SEC. Winning 40+ games and winning the SEC will still be considered taking a step back. This year will have its ups and downs early, but don’t expect it to last all season.

Tennessee sources expected him to play last weekend. I wouldn’t put too much stock in sources when it comes to the NCAA doing anything

With the strength of the league I wouldn’t hold my breath on that

While true LSU has some great pitchers they do not have a better 1-3 weekend rotation.
Our 3 starters did ok I guess...only 5 hits and 1 run combined given up.

I think that’s pretty funny. Or pretty sad. Can’t be sure which one, but since you’re an Arkansas fan I’ll assume you understand baseball at least a little bit.

You possibly played the worse team in their conference. They was 18-36 last year. They are not near a regional team of any sort.

You fricking played Western Michigan. W. Michigan went 18-36 and 15-24 in conference last season. They are possibly one of the worst teams in the country again this year.

The only team you beat was UC San Diego. Like Western Michigan, they finished 8th in a bad conference last year.

Look, if you hadn’t spent the last several months talking shite, not a soul on here would be crowing about what nobodies their team beat opening weekend. But when you do spend months starting thread after thread, and then your team proceeds to drop their first two games, what exactly did you expect was going to happen.

If you would stfu and just watch the games like normal human beings, like everyone else here, then the shitposting would go down tremendously. Baseball content has always been the most cordial discussions on here. Is it your goal to make the last remaining civil thing on this board turn to shut like everything else?

You haven’t even been on this board a year yet have started almost as many threads as I have in 15 years. Stop

But they did play Arizona, and GCU which of both were regional teams last year. I understand how baseball works. By time we come to Alex Box the boys will be ready.

And lost, to both of them, doing nothing on offense. Congrats playing better than terrible teams while losing. Nobody cares
