Nope. We had a helmet with numbers like Alabama on it until the early 70s. We then wore a helmet in the early to mid 70s with a different logo. We have worn the current version since 1977 with the exception of the facemask used to be grey and not purple. We did clean up the tiger head logo recently but most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference at first glance.

Mizzou needs to go back to the block M and stay with it. Black Jersey over white or gold pants and stick with it.
I honestly like all the classic helmets and have no favorite. The one thing that I hated, and I’m in the minority, is Alabama white helmets. I love auburn white helmets, but just no to Alabama. Crimson only.

There are a lot of great, iconic helmets in the SEC.
Alabama, Florida, LSU and Georgia all have a great look to me.

Best "throwback" helmets are Kentucky's Power K, Mississippi State's interlocking and Missouri Block M.
Best current helmets to me are LSU, Auburn and South Carolina.
Alabama and Tennessee's are iconic, and whoever tries to change them ought to be lynched.

It is weird that so many are hating on LSU's helmets when routinely LSU universally is ranked in the top 5 uniforms in all of college football every season.

I like LSU’s color scheme and their unis/helmets are ok too. Just think the helmet is a tweak away from being great. It’s a tad busy.

The small tiger logo is excellent - it just fits. The big block LSU on top sets it off.
Great looking uniform. I like it much better than the white. Yellow helmet and pants ... white or purple jersey. Looks really good.
