LSU fans refuse to give up. They were so hyped by Fournette as a recruit they failed to recognize him for what he is. He’s a great college running back and a solid NFL back. Nothing incredible.

When Chubb finished with better stats than Fournette they tried to tell us Fournette would be way better than Chubb in the NFL.

Now Chubb is a 2nd year pro-bowler and almost won the rushing title. Fournette is about to be traded

He shite the bed because of an incompetent head coach named Leslie Miles! Only if LSU would have had a passing game, LF would have put up better numbers. Hard to gain yardage when the defense knows what you are doing!

Archie probably should have won it over Jim Plunkett.

Peyton should have won it period.

Some LSU players who were great but didn't win it:
Jerry Stovall
Tommy Casanova
Charles Alexander

Bama had lots of great teams and players in the 70's but their wishbone offense really wasn't conducive to big stats.

He asked who were the best SEC players to never win the Heisman.

LF7 is 15th in rushing yards in SEC history and 16th in rushing touchdowns despite only playing in 32 games and being injured in many of those so its fair to say he was a great SEC player who didn't win the Heisman so not sure what you're arguing here.

Fournette, McFadden, Peyton.

That's it. That's the list. Any other answer is wrong and unacceptable.

So why are you bitching and moaning about him so much then if you agree he clearly meets the criteria for this thread?

The topic is “best players to never win a Heisman”

That means you take every single player who has never won a Heisman, and you pick the best ones.

Not the best individual season.
Lol you’re a fricking idiot. He had a great season because he was a great player. Jackass.

Archie was selected in the Major League Baseball draft four times, first in 1967 by the Braves, twice by the White Sox, and finally by the Royals in 1971.

He played short stop while at ole miss and went to Omaha in 1969.

Joe Namath-1964

The winner, John Huarte, received $200K signing bonus from the Jets. Namath received $400K. Namath was more than twice as good.

Both Chubb and Gurley have objectively better stats than Fournette.

Man, you Georgia fans have got to get the frick over Fournette.

The Heisman is a single season award.
