My unscientific guess is that barring injury the best RB in the Conference stat-wise will be the TFr that UGA is bringing in from California
Just a wild guess, don't have anything to support my position

Pretty unlikely that he starts

I think he beats out the guy coming off of no Spring Ball and 2 bum knees
Please, tell us who the starter will be?

Zamir White. Milton will be third behind White and Cook

Lorenzo Lingard, the Miami transfer, at Florida

Just a stab in the dark, but Milton will be 2nd on depth chart by seasons and and will be 1st if anything happens to White during the season.
Cook is a specialty player, imo. He won't be able to carry the water as a #2

Agreed. The fact he performed at the level he did on the most horseshite, peewee football program I've ever seen is really impressive. Dude averaged twice as many yards per game from scrimmage as the second place guy.

Had 13 yards on 11 carries last year in Knoxville.
Kylin had absolutely no where to run in that game. UT Dline mauled our oline that game and Moorehead called a horrific game on top of that.

Najee is the best running back in the SEC.

I was EXTREMELY impressed with him in the one game I watched.
He had 66% of his team’s total yards and 100% of the team’s TDs in that game.
His team only gained 169 total yards and scored 1 TD... but it was still a sight to behold. Look forward to seeing him improve.

was really impressed with Curry in the Peach Bowl. That kid ran with a purpose.
Reminds me a lot of Spencer Ware or Stevan Ridley.

If Leach can get his offense installed, Hill should be poised for a big year.
If Leach gets his offense installed, Hill isn’t going to get the ball very much. I honestly don’t know why he stuck around after that hire.

Hill will get a lot of carries. He will be the primary - if not only - running option in that offense.

That’s great, but Leach’s offense doesn’t utilize the running game. Unless Leach is changing what’s he’s run his entire career, Hill’s carries will go down (significantly). His entire team had 210 carries last year and that includes 20 sacks. Hill had 242 carries by himself last year. So I’d love to know why you’d expect his workload to increase?

Running Backs average carries per game (v P5 teams) under Leach at Wazzu
2019: Borghi/McIntosh (combined) (12.2)
2018: Williams/Borghi (combined) (14.7)
2017: Morrow/Williams (combined) (12.1)
2016: Morrow/Williams (combined) (15.1)
2015: Wicks/Morrow (combined) (12.4)
2014: Wicks/Morrow (combined) (13.8)
2013: Mason/Caldwell/Laufasa (combined) (13.9)
2012: Winston/Caldwell (combined) (12.2)
Leach does not run the football. Hill will not run the football.

Cook averaged over 6 yards per carry his freshman and sophomore seasons. He just never got any touches.

The new group at LSU: Davis-Price, Emery, Curry
I honestly have no idea who will emerge from this group for LSU this season. Emery is the biggest open field threat and he had off season Lasik. Maybe that could help him as a pass receiver option.
