That’s always been the appeal of going to college in Florida
Sure, but neither Tallahassee or Gainesville are all that close to a decent beach.
If you really cared about that, South Florida has better options.

1/2 the kids on academic tours are from Texas. My sons roommate is from Dallas. I been on several tours.

These polls and ratings are a joke. Most of the numerous criteria used have nothing to do with how good an education you receive. This goes for all the organizations that put out these ratings.

Nowadays unless you’re from an Ivy league school and plan to work on Wall Street, it really doesn’t matter.
A degree is a degree. Most of the time for a job it’s a check the box. I’ve never had an interviewer ask me to tell him more about my college.

Imagine typing out this shite while simultaneously insulting the intelligence of college graduates

So it's mostly based on surveys from students and alums. Useless.

A recent poll came out showing that LSU grads were ranked #4 in the SEC as highest income earners only behind Vandy, UF annd aTm after 10 years of graduation so that’s all that matters anyway!
This is the graph I remember.

Your elementary grammar makes your statement illegitimate.

The idea that UF is better than Berkeley is laughable.
It once was. But you’d find a lot of kids at Cal that are unable to define what a man or woman is, or are in favor of paying reparations to the blacks. So yeah when you factor in California lunacy I’d go with Florida as the better institution.

2 scenarios where it matters, otherwise I totally agree and I come from a family that has graduates as early as the 1800's on both sides of the family and personally have consulted with universities. A college degree is an overpaid piece of paper and 4 year maturation/vacation at best for 66% of undergraduates. I've sent more B10 and PAC12 graduates to the unemployment line than I could ever remember and we arent talking ASU and Nebraska. Their parents shld've sent them to El Cheapo U & saved $100k if not more.
1. Specialized field or very niched industries of career choice
2. Law, Med, MBA, PhD
Side note.. Cal Berkley is far better than #9, the list drops measurably after #5 and really stats sliding after #15 or so.

Applicants that don’t get into UC Berkeley (Cal) get redirected to UCLA.
List is highly suspect!

All time high enrollment last fall. Try again Aggie.

I’ve never seen Ole Miss ranked so highly on one of these lists. They are typically down at the bottom with MSU and LSU.

Undergrad at UGA and MBA from Virginia and I suspect I could have arrived here without either and an earlier start in the mkt.

The gap between Auburn and Bama is astounding….AU grad avg salary +27% higher. Most living in the same state.
Now imagine if you compared fan to fan and not just the graduates.
