Deshea Townsend comes to mind.
Didn't go to an SEC school but Marcus Dupree is probably the biggest one Ole Miss and State let get away.

Arkansas doesn't lose instate players they want, sounds like 2nd tier program problems up in this thread.

That gosh damn Freddie Milons used to piss me off every time we played Bama! Not only from MS but our own damn town!

Kendall Simmons going to AU hurt pretty bad..... The biggest is probably Freddie Milons to Bama.... Starkville high school's starting QB for 3 years... He was ready to get the frick out of Oktibbeha County.

Had one go to Oklahoma (Keith Jackson) and another to Memphis (DeAngelo Williams) that did quite well, but of course, you said SEC schools...
Not sure how hard Petrino was after Dyer or Frazier or possibly the lineman (can't even think of his name at the moment) that left for Auburn. I think they had offers though.
ETA: RB Cedric Houston, WR Bret Smith and seems like there was one other that went to Tennessee. Of the three, Houston was the only one that went on to have much of a career.

Marshall Faulk
Granted he wasn't recognized by most major schools for the position he wanted to play - but he's the best Louisiana answer I can think of
bleah, SEC competitor only? I suppose Eli Manning then

I kept waiting for a Tennessean to get that one given what a great athlete Spurrier was and how much he accomplished. But they continue to ignore him.
I guess they'll never get over the bitterness. Haters gonna hate.
