Deion Belue, that played CB at Bama, went to the same high school I did. He was born the year I graduated, however. Damn I am old!!

Jason Allen, The Goodes, Antonio Langham, and many others all played high school ball in the Shoals area of Alabama.

Football: Terry Bradshaw

This day and age probably Sean West in baseball and Barkevious Mingo in football.

Yea, we used to throw our slowest lefty against Wetumpka in high-school because of Reggie. Told him to throw it outside, and Reggie still hit lasers to the warning track.

Reggie Golden? I played travel ball with Reggie Golden on the Montgomery Force. Reggie played center field. I was a pitcher and short stop. I ended up playing Reggie when we both got to single A rookie ball. He played for Mesa in the Cubs farm league.

You listed players from 2 districts?

Depends on the sport. In baseball and football all the teams listed were in the same district. Just not the same classification. Mobile and Baldwin County schools fall under the same sports districts depending on classification. For example: Fairhope, Foley, Robertsdale, Bay Minnette, Murphy, and McGill Toolen are 7A. They are in the same district because of classification and proximity. Same principle with other classifications. To get technical, because UMS is a 4A school they have to play Jackson and Thomasville which is 2 hours away.

Kwame committed to Billy Donovan at UF. Didn't he go straight to the pros and skip college?

Indeed he did. He was the first HS player to get drafted #1 overall in 2001. Lebron and Dwight Howard then did the same in 2003 and 2004. Then in 2005 they changed the CBA to the current state which requires the player be 19 and 1 year removed from HS (college not a requirement).

Hard to fault him for taking the cash, but he had a whole lot of growing up to do.

I moved from Memphis to Richmond, during high school.
First school had Cindy Parlow on the '99 Women's World Cup team.
Also, Matt Cain came from our rival.
