Kevin Butler and Fuad Reveiz were bad dudes. I think Fuad held the NFL consecutive FG streak for awhile.

Daniel carlson was 13 of 21 on 50+ yarders. Didn't butler use a tee for most of his college career? It's almost like comparing apples and oranges to be honest - different eras

Kevin Butler also got to kick FG's off of a tee.

The best was the Auburn kicker who missed 5000 field goals against LSU

SOS. The dude made one kick and won the heisman. Nuff said. J/‘k.

Not a Florida kicker as the best kicker. I’d have no idea tbh.

Have they changed the rules on that?

Remember that guy Caleb Sturgis who kicked for UF from 1991 to like 2013? He was pretty good.

Only remembered for the 2 chip shot fgs he missed against LSU in a 17-14 loss where the better team lost that day.

Come on dude, Ole Miss scored 1 offensive TD, averaged 1 yard per rush and had about 225 total yards of offense in that game at home for a trip to go to the SEC Championship. LSU almost doubled up Ole Miss in 1st downs and outgained them by over 100 yards (in addition to scoring more points than them). Ole Miss had a really good team, but they weren't better than LSU.

Watching UGAvsLSU 2003 SECCG. And it reminded me how good Billy Bennett was for UGA.

Is he the best kicker in SEC history? IMO he is

There have been some really good ones in the SEC, for sure.
