re: What is the phrase “ whop head dolly “ mean?

Hello friends, my legal practice have consumed me for few years but wanted to say that I miss all of you. Except for GREENHEAD I see that he is still lost in the wilderness trying to dabble in land speculation. And wick still doesn’t know how to find an upland bird so he has channeled that frustration into slinging pizza pies. There are worse outlets I figure.

Alex, I still peruse the board. I have been feeling bad for you as you struggle to figure out how to catch crappie with that magic fish finder you are now "running."

Terrible advice. I fish crappie 12 months a year. I absolutely hate using these things. Only do when I have to get up in the button woods.
But you also don't catch many fish.
re: What duck loads are you shooting these days?
Posted by Fat Neck on 11/21/19 at 1:59 pm
Any 2 3/4", 1-1/4 oz, #5 or #6 pheasant load will kill any duck in reasonable range. This has been my go to for years and I see no reason to switch at this point

LOL at all these sugarasses acting like they wouldn't be giddy as a school girl to draw back on that deer.

Would fit right in at a Texas A&M tailgate.

Only Louisiana and only Basin and SW Louisiana. I definitely want to hunt more places.
You poor, poor glutton for punishment.

You are slow to catch on here. This is the rant. Irrationally popping off is who we are. It’s what we do. The sooner you accept and embrace this, the sooner you will start to have fun.

But in 17 days, the rubber (and melon) hits the road. And all those moronic narratives you and your cronies have been clinging to will explode.. Like watermelons hitting the asphalt - thrown off the roof of a 20-story building.
In 17 days, LSU will most likely whip up on an excellent Georgia Southern team. LSU beating this team is clear proof of Brady being ready for the big time while his mentor, Ensminger, was keeping a watchful eye on the young man. All while the man in the high castle, Coach O, was keeping an eye on both Ensminger and Brady. The system will work most perfectly and it will be a win like we haven’t seen since we dominated Southeastern and Arkansas last year.

I dug a hole to China and still haven't found anything on Brady running his own offense successfully. Must have started digging in the wrong spot.

e'll see in 2 weeks and 3 days. IMO, this transition with the old guard bringing along the young buck is the best possible scenario.
Further, I think another year or two with co-OCs would be wise and productive. A ton of an OCs duties have zero to do with football. Let E teach Brady the ropes.
I agree. Hiring someone unproven and having him trained by a guy that has been a world beater as an OC is the best possible scenario. This is a much better approach than hiring an OC that has run his own offense with success in the past.
The co-OC route would be even better. Since Ensminger is one of the best OC's in the country, why would we ever let him go? This way we would have two of the best OC's in the country on the staff simultaneously.

And sure, there are exceptions. But if the OC is strong, he's likely to get HC offers after a couple seasons.
This is why I'm so glad we hired Ensminger as the OC. We never have to worry about someone hiring him away for a HC job.
If we hired an accomplished and proven OC, and we had a good offense that helped us win games, that would totally suck. We'd always have to be looking over our shoulder to see if somebody was going to poach him. I'd rather have a mediocre OC that keeps us in the stone age, but in return, we never have to be worried about hiring a new OC.

Yea, absolutely none of these names were available for any dollar amount when Ed was looking for a new OC after he divorced Canada. None of them.
Not Kendall Briles, whose contract at Houston was so lucrative he wouldn't come coach at a major SEC program. Not Graham Harrell, who also had a great contract at a small program. Not Mike Yurich, no amount of money would have lured him to BR from Stillwater.
Ed said he was going to hire the best coordinators in the nation, and the best OC in the nation was already on his staff. Whodathunk it.

Start paying attention to what so far? Some of the stats Brady has racked up at LSU as the play caller? Some of the stats he racked up as a play calling coach at the Saints, who had a trash QB and were a perennial bottom dweller on offense before Joe Brady came to town?
Oh wait......
Not saying he won't be a good coach, but people already anointing him king need to take a deep breath and calm down.
I'll be waiting for your contrarian response...

I've never seen people get so giddy about handing the keys of the offense over to a guy that has never been an OC and was a minor assistant on the Saints staff.
We've got this genius claiming that the best possible scheme for Burrow's skill set is the E&Brady situation. The guy has literally never coached LSU in a football game and him and Ensminger coaching the offense is already the best possible scheme for Burrow.
People already exclaiming that the guy that has never been an OC in his life will be the OC in a year or two. We know this without him ever coaching LSU in an actual football game in his life.
People, stop drinking the retard juice.

When was the last time you hunted around Welsh? How often have you hunted around Welsh? Have you ever had a lease there?
List of things I would rather do than lease an available rice field blind in the in Welsh/Gueydan/Kaplan area:
1. Hunt my club off of Section 120 road in the basin
2. Take my life in my own hands and make the run from Venice
3. Get a big water layout boat rig and shoot divers on Lake P
4. Shoot woodies at Lake Martin or the Maurepas Swamp
5. Hunt other peoples blinds on Catahoula
6. Give up duck hunting in LA altogether and fish other peoples brushpiles on Toledo Bend with my Garmin Livescope

The best was the Auburn kicker who missed 5000 field goals against LSU
