If I remember right, he red-shirted his first year, and was the close-range kicker his second year, as Colt David, an All-SEC kicker, himself, was a senior. So the kicking duties were split.

And, no, I'd just use total points to determine the best kicker. Seems the simplest, most straight forward way. You're not going to get the most points if you have a bad made/att. ratio.

But then there are several other metrics that could be called into play, clutch kicking. How many game-winning kicks do they have? I've seen more than one Groza kicker botch their chance to give their team a win in Tiger Stadium. They might have great averages, but all their misses come with the game on the line.

Pretty sure both of these hit the post. both game winners if I am not mistaken
I had taken two xanex and had passed out and missed the entire second half of the game.

Thank God.

Yeah. "best", maybe not "most accurate".

Underrated one for UGA was Coutu. He never got a shot at one, but there were some days I swore he could’ve made from 70.

He was money from 50+

Only remembered for the 2 chip shot fgs he missed against LSU in a 17-14 loss where the better team lost that day.

In 2015 and 2016 Carlson was dead on the best

On November 28, 2015, Carlson wasn't even the best on the field. He shanked from 48 while Griffith went 5 for 5 with a 47 and a 50.

his needs two list. With tee and without tee.

Evidently the tee was overrated. Not very many percentage leaders on that list from the tee-era.

No. And i know you would have a difficult time giving Auburn any credit, but the answer to that question is Daniel Carlson, leading scorer in SEC history and never missed an extra point in his career
