Gonna be the weak link all year. We were so spoiled by Nola, Bregman, and Kramer.

Do you realize how much better Jordan Thompson was as a Freshman than Kramer Robinson was? I’m guessing you don’t.

Lol Thompson was a true freshman last year, started the entire season at SS and Jay Johnson has called him one of the most improved on the team.

Do you remember how awful Kramer was early in his LSU career?

At the plate, yes. But I thought this was a defense-only discussion and he was so good at that he got a lot of playing time hitting .200.

Last preseason prediction I saw had LSU FOURTH in the West. Ouch.

Last time I looked they don’t give out the National Championship trophy until June. Beating your chest in February is stupid. It’s a long season which hasn’t even started yet.

The kid who hit .283 last year? I’ll take Cade Doughty and his .308 BA all day.
moore and doughyy are both really good. Last season doughty had a better average but moore hit more bombs more rbis more triples and one less double so and overall higher slugging pct. Hard to go wrong with either guy in the infield

That .283 would be good for 6th best in LSU’s lineup
LSU’s home run total for 2021: 64

Sorry to inform you of this but Maineri is no longer the LSU head coach. Jay Johnson is actually giving these guys an approach at the plate.

And both of our seasons ended in the Supers.

Congrats, I guess.

This post is “foul”, you should have stated “stay at home hogs” based on last year’s performance

Moore is ahead of the LSU 2nd basemen on any list you want to look at.

He’s listed as a top 10 player for the MLB draft.

D1 had LSUs infield:
1B #1
2B #4
SS #23
3B #1

And 2 of the outfielders were #1 and #14.

Arguably the best OF and best IF in college baseball this year.

Talent has not been the problem in BR, knowing how to win has.

We shall see what the new staff brings to the table.

Dunhurst, Elko, Chatanier, Gonzalez, and Bench. Bench will spend some time in the outfield too though.

It is stupid how good the west is. If we have any pitching depth we have the most experienced/ returning production lineup in the country. I'm ready to be heartbroken again.
