And it's not really close. OmaHogs.

All-American Cayden Wallace at third. All-American Robert Moore at second. Add Golden Spikes candidates to both those guys. Should be AA Jalen Battles at short. Anyone who doubts Battles should go look at last year's SEC tournament. National Freshman of the Year candidate Peyton Stovall at first. Michael Turner behind the plate.

If defense wins championships, this bunch should be off to a good start.

Yeahhh I’ll raise you a Jacob Berry and Tre Morgan.

We don’t even need to talk about Dylan Crews in CF.

LSU is about to drop nuts on the SEC.

D1 had LSUs infield:
1B #1
2B #4
SS #23
3B #1

And 2 of the outfielders were #1 and #14.

Arguably the best OF and best IF in college baseball this year.

While Robert Moore does have a bit of showboat to him, he's a helluva lot better player than that bastard Carson Shaddy.

But thanks for bringing that up. God damn Carson Shaddy. Well, and Eric Cole, too. That was his ball. He should have called ... nevermind.

Y'all are an afterthought at this point.

I'm more concerned about Misstake, and I'm not concerned about them.

And don't get me started on the overrated nothings led by Landon Sims. Cream trumps powder blue. Every. Time.

Moron may have been giving you too much credit. Starting a college baseball thread and don’t even know who Landon Sims plays for. Unreal.

Arkansas, State and LSU should all have great teams this year.

Robert Moore is the best 2nd baseman for sure and we are loaded with talent but so are those other two teams

Don’t leave Ole Miss out either. All four teams have phenomenal talent. It’s going to be a blood bath in the West this year.

The kid who hit .283 last year?

I’ll take Cade Doughty and his .308 BA all day.

That .283 would be good for 6th best in LSU’s lineup

Gonna be the weak link all year. We were so spoiled by Nola, Bregman, and Kramer.
