He's got Tennessee, Kentucky and Kansas fans all agreeing on something during basketball season. Miracle worker if you ask me.

Coleman Coliseum

A true home court advantage. Opposing teams are not used to playing in the dark while Alabama practices in it.

It's certainly not ours.

Coleman needs to be replaced, something fierce.

Sold my tix last week for LSU game for $180/each.

Bought tix for @ Oxford and @ Starkville for $50/each and @ Tuscaloosa for $70 each (which obviously includes an AU premium)

I love the Palestra. Saw a few Temple/St Joe’s games there when Coach Chaney was coaching the owls. Just a different vibe there as opposed to these new arenas. Was fortunate to see Kobe and others play summer ball @ Temple. That was pretty cool.

Auburn atmosphere is impressive. But UK, UT Arkansas, USCe, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Alabama and even Vandy have equal or more electricity when they are good.

Are you really bragging about ticket prices when you have a 9k seat Arena? That is half the size or less than Kentucky, Arkansas, TN and I believe even SC.

Building a 9k seat arena says more about your basketball support. That’s HS size

You look at tickets at Auburn away games and it rivals UK.

Currently UGA, Miss state and Ole Miss are sellouts. Auburn fans pack SEC arenas.

There is no official definition of what constitutes a blue blood, but the term is generally applied to programs that have a long history of success, a strong fan base, and a national reputation.

So you recently had a strong fan base...

Remind me again how many NCAA Basketball Championships you all have won...

How about you win like two titles first before you start talking about being blue-blooded...

Let this sink in. 6–11 UofL is closer to being a blue blood than your program.

And if we are talking just at home any team in the nation would be the underdog walking in there right now.

Can't speak to the others but OU doesn't really have an "electric" crowd anymore. We don't belong on any "electric crowd" list unless you are going back to about 1990.

6-11 UL is closer to being a blue blood than every single program that isn't a blue blood. They are either a blue blood or they are the first team out so I'm not sure what the point of that insult is.

And no Auburn isn't a "blue blood" regardless of recent atmosphere. Surely that was a joke. We don't even crack the top 50. Pearl, a new arena, and a fanbase desperate to opiate themselves from Saban's wrath are the only reasons we crawled out of the bottom of the cellar with the Nebraskas and Oregon States of the CBB world.

Don't see that level of honesty too often on here and it's all true. That said i can't imagine a much better position be in than being an auburn basketball fan right now.

If Auburn is a blue blood then so is San Diego State.

Auburn owns the largest margin of victory in Bud Walton history. Come to Neville and do the same, and we might talk

Houston’s College of Biblical Studies is closer to being more famous than AU. At least they have set a record.

LSU, ole miss, msu and Arkansas average more fans at baseball games.

But Barnhill arena sat 9,000 folks and was loud and rowdy so I remember no one wanted to play us there. It was a great atmosphere.
