CBB True Blue Bloods (can recruit just about anyone they want):
Kentucky
North Carolina
Duke
Kansas
UConn - yeah, yeah, but 5 Rings in 25 yrs is crazy good
UCLA

Lost Blue Blood status:
Indiana

Outside looking in:
Louisville
Michigan State
Syracuse

Best (and original) atmospheres: Duke, Kansas

everyone else is a copycat.

Kansas arena sounds like a library.

Neville arena is great now (not as good as Bud Walton). But as soon as Bruce is gone it’s going to be a sad little place. It had a perfect storm of Bruce + football sucking. Kinda happened the same way when UT hired him, except we actually had a basketball fan base to keep it going after he was fired.

Auburn has a great arena...but would suck to have to pay such high prices to see a decent game.

A true home court advantage. Opposing teams are not used to playing in the dark while Alabama practices in it.

No one. Like, absolutely no one would have AU listed as a blue blood.

…no one.

Louisville would be really really close. 3 titles and 10 Final Fours.

Syracuse? They mirror the Arkansas program. I would not put Arkansas on the cusp of being a “blue blood” but would put them as a top 15 program all time.

Syracuse
1 NCAAT title
6 Final Fours
10 Elite Eights
24 Sweet Sixteens
10 Conference Titles

A program with 5 titles doesn’t lose any status.

It's insane the atmosphere they've created at Neville. Downside is the ridiculous prices to get in.

Cheapest for 4 tickets to today’s game is $200/each. Add in taxes and fees, travel, and probably lodging, it’s pretty much getting close to our middle class family’s budget for a vacation.

Auburn was smart to put the students courtside, wish LSU would take note.

99% sure every Auburn fan that claims this is just trolling. It is astounding and a testament to Bruce that anyone takes them seriously.

When I was at Auburn, the basketball games were like going to the library. I was absolutely blown away last time I went to Neville.

Auburn atmosphere is impressive. But UK, UT Arkansas, USCe, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Alabama and even Vandy have equal or more electricity when they are good
