Bowden, Bryant, and Saban are obvious. Meyer too. Not sure about the others.

Meyer?
Neyland had a losing record against final ranked teams.
Paterno is disqualified for obvious reasons.
Osborne?
Rockne?
Wilkinson?
Yost maybe?

Oops, forgot about Woody Hayes.

Definitely including Meyer now. .854 is an insane win % across 4 programs (including Bowling Green and when Utah was mid-major).

Hayes won 3 consensus Natties, 2 others were not, his overall win % was 76%, not a top 5 all-time head football coach by any means

Plus he punched a player on the sidelines. I would have laughed my arse off it that player would have body slammed his punk arse.

Not top 5 because of lazy work ethic and recruiting.

But couldnt/wouldn't compete for a NC in his own division.

Strange

Saban's at the top for me, that's for sure.

2-5 can go any number of ways, but, and as much as I hate to say it, at least one of Switzer or Wilkinson would have to be in there too.

Dude , you gotta swap Out Bear with Saban. Saban did vs better overall teams in football
And with limits how many. Bear could get hundreds

1. Paul Bryant

Even Saban admits the Bear is better. Bear rebuilt how many programs, after horrible years.

Not real sure what you are trying too say there..

Hayes won 3 Natties, had a really good, but not great overall win% as a head coach, #32 among head Coaches at Major/FBS schools and he punched an opposing player at the end of a bowl game, was put out to pasture right after that.

If Hayes only won 3 than UGA only has 2.

Bryant also won big at Kentucky and A&M.
