Been noticing a common meme on X about UGA

“Hurricane Kirby is coming to Tuscaloosa and Alabama isn’t gonna know what hit them.”
So freaking lame. I’ve seen other stuff from UGA fans talking about how “soft” Bama is. Even saw an interview with Kirby where he said he doesn’t know if Bama is soft and if they can take a punch in the mouth.
Here’s the difference between us and Kirby/UGA fans. We know Georgia has a really good team. Most of us have watched them this year. We don’t underestimate them. We have respect.
HOWEVER, I get the sense many of them have never watched Bama this year, maybe only the highlights. We have some advantages and they’re too blind and arrogant to see them.
UGA can win this game. I don’t kid myself but assuming Bama executes well, I like our chances.

All I see is them saying it’s “Bama’s Super Bowl”
A common cope for a team that is owned by the other

Earlier in season I thought teams like O State and Texas and UGA looked more physical than Bama but the last couple of weeks Bama seems just as physical to my eyes. I am hoping to see that tomorrow night. If we hold up in the trenches I love out chances.

Not happy about all the damn distractions this week. Hard to think of a week I've seen more. This being a home game is a major major plus.

Those of us who reside in Georgia all know how goddamn obnoxious they can be. They take pride in thinking of themselves as an elite academic institution, especially if they didn't attend themselves, and consider their athletics program generally to be a beacon of goodness and light in the dark pit of corruption that is the SEC. The arrogance is genuinely astounding at times.

I lived in Gwinnett and Henry counties for the longest time. I think they're generally friendly but have no idea how dumb they truly are education-wise.
I moved there in '84 and went to high school for my last 3 years. It was astounding how they thought Alabama was way behind in education. At that time, Georgia was 48th in the country while Alabama was something like 25th.
They are complete donkeys and can't get through a Dawg game without getting blackout drunk.

UGA is an ok school but it is much easier to get into than even Georgia State. I had plenty of friends who at the time were hoping to graduate from Clayton State (I think it's called something else now) but the classes were way easier at UGA and so they went that route instead.

This isn't the 1980's anymore. It's much harder to get into UGA than it is GSU now

No offense man but it's still a donkey state. I am very glad I don't live there anymore.
