Playing SMU that early and it's a potential play in for their conference championship game

They also miss VTech.

The acc and big 12 both really need to be limited to one playoff team each with the types of schedules they're playing. A 9-3 sec or big ten team is more deserving than a 11-1 or 10-2 acc team.

We did for Lamar Jackson and he was an absolute stud. We may not be great but at least one game a year we beat someone we shouldn’t.

Despite the entertaining game, I wasn't impressed with Louisville. Their offense looked ragged and Ole Miss should be concerned about giving up that many yards and points.

The only “comfort” (and I use that term loosely) i have is thinking most of their points came off busted coverages and miscommunications. Which is normal for week 1 games against solid opponents which should be easy to fix.
But there is just as much of a chance our players just suck so who knows

Leaves Louisville with absolutely no margin for error though. And they will 100% frick up and drop another game despite the marshmallow schedule.

It's game one so there's no point in over analyzing anything. When I say Ole Miss should be concerned I don't mean your defense will suck. It needs work. As for Louisville, it's early for them too but they may have some personnel issues on offense.

They're a well coached team. I expect them to be in the mix in November. Last year they were squarely on their way with a 7-1 start and a win over Miami and then they ran into a buzzsaw with injuries to several top players all happening simultaneously. Against SMU, they had to start QB2, RB3, WR2, multiple front 7 defenders out, etc. SMU rightly obliterated them.
