Be honest LSU fans, how do you feel about your offense this year?

We all saw the high expectations of the fanbase tumble when it became clear that your QB position was about as productive as a flaccid penis last season. With no real immediate fix, what are your expectations overall? LF will no doubt get his, but will it matter if 3rd and 6+ might as well be 4th down again? Or is there some hotshot QB coming in? If so, does youth play a factor? I've been very vocal about LSU being a QB away from being elite, especially with this year's defensive unit. But I just don't see that QB problem fixed yet.

I am not an LSU fan... but if their offense is a bit better they are still a very dangerous team.

We won't know for a while though. Not until they get into the blood and guts portion of the SEC campaign. LSU has the talent, they have the potential. Do they have the guns though?

I fully expect our defense to give up double the production to Fournette this year, 18 Yards.

I'm OK with this.

I can see Harris being a great game manager and making plays and us being very dangerous with our deep wide receiver corps. I can also see the perfect storm of shitacular play

Honestly, outside of 2013 Mett, we haven't had good QB play anyways. I think realistic expectations is 10-2 ish. optomistic goes as high as playoffs, and the floor is 8 wins again. 10 years of Miles is my reasoning.

You will probably get a couple anti-Miles ranters saying 7-5, 6-6. But that is because they would rather LSU lose than Miles win.

IF

IF Cam and Miles would "dumb down" the playbook for Harris and incorporate some spread looks, I'd feel pretty confident in our ability to make things happen and keep defenses honest. I don't mean that as an insult. Cam's O has a plethora of plays, formations and check downs. I sometimes wonder if he'd be better off coaching in the NFL. Time will tell. WR is solid and we go 5-6 deep at TB. We all know LF is special and will get his. It's all on Harris to learn the playbook, subsequently causing the game to "slow down" for him. Kid has all the tools. If we could land middle of the conference in passing, that would be plenty to get us to Atlanta.

Loaded stable of backs, loaded stable of WRs, and 4-5 offensive lineman that will be drafted.

Brandon Harris is the real deal. You'll see very soon

Actually the same as last year. I expect more run, run, punt. I haven't seen anything from our QBs to expect much different.

Pretty bold statement. Rushing for 18 yards in last year's Arkansas game would have meant Fournette rushing for 50% of his team's total rushing production of 36 yards.

Miles likes to use a platoon system at RB, so I'm not sure there's going to be enough to go around to get Fournette to 18.

It's certainly possible.
