What’s crazy is that guys like Romo, Newton, Ryan are definitely within that group that were debated aa being top 10 or not and they’d be bonafide top 5 guys right now.
Same with Stafford. He just happened to stick around long enough and is going win an MVP at damn near 40

I’m not saying to not be excited and optimistic. Hell, I said this the team of the last four to be most optimistic about.
There’s just no reason to make grand declarations about this team when they have repeatedly shown a trend and pattern over the last 4 years. If anything, you at least have somewhat of a foundation of players to start building around and a head coach who actually seems capable.

2022: Saints enter December 4-8, finish 7-10
2023: Saints enter December 5-6, finish 9-8
2024: Saints enter December 4-7, finish 5-12
2025: Saints enter December 2-10, will likely finish the month 4-0 and will close 7-10/6-11
15-31 (32.6%) heading into December over the last 4 years and 11-9 (55%) post-December. This team has repeatedly shown that they are closer to the team in September, October, and November than they are in December and January.
I think this iteration of the Saints are much closer to winning than the previous, but do not confuse them with a winning team or one that is remotely close to a contender. There are massive holes still remaining on this team.
I just hope this stretch doesn’t fool the people, and more importantly, the organization that they are on the cusp. That line of thinking led to them starting this rebuild two years too late.

Refs may not be having a good night, but Tulane is also smashing UNT.

He’s been playing the last few weeks. May see some more action in the bowl game though.
Stop acting like bitches

Some of you are absolutely ridiculous. Stop being so insecure and whiny. It’s either going to be announced he’s coming or he’s not. Some of you sound like such women.

It’s a pre-written article. Somebody accidentally hit send. Also, the reveille won’t be the group that breaks this story.

We did not have to trade Indiana’s pick while the finals were ongoing. We did not have to trade our pick with no protections. We can like the player but admit that the process was completely flawed and we lost a ton of value because of it.

This happened under O as well. He spoke plenty of times in his press conferences that Woodward would come check in with him about recruiting.
If Woodward played a role in scouting/recruiting players I would be concerned, but showing investment and attention to what you need to do get the top players at the highest revenue producing sport should not be frowned upon.

Scott didn’t go with the intention to fire Kelly on Sunday.
And do you all realize how toxic and inept Woodward thought Kelly was that he would fire him, knowing it would likely cost him his own job? The guy isn’t stupid.

Tate tried to reel back what F. King started with the holistic admissions. He saw that for what it was. There’s a reason Oregon State fired F. King because Les Miles and Tate is running Rutgers.

Good news is that the coaching staff seems to be very positive. Bad news is our roster is still dogshit, no matter who is coaching.

Seems like he’s being penalized pretty heavily for the first play of the game on the run blocking grade.

Park where you normally park and take Perkins down to Staring, take a right, then take another right when you hit Burbank and then come back up Burbank.
I usually take a right on Hyacinth or one of those other streets off Lee or LSU ave to hit Glasgow and hit Perkins from there instead of trying to wait to at the light on Perkins.

The only thing you have to do is win.

Ole Miss would be in if they didn’t lose embarrassingly to Kentucky, who went 1-7 in SEC play.
Alabama would be in if they didn’t lose embarrassingly to Oklahoma, who went 2-6 in SEC play, and noted powerhouse Vanderbilt, who lost to the mighty Georgia State.
Stop brand watching and worry about what teams won their games. Those SEC teams aren’t in because they lost the bottom of the barrel teams in their conference. OU and Kentucky were the worst teams in the SEC this year.
You want in? Win.

Offensive line was horrendous in 2018 too. I think they were ranked like 112th or something in the nation that year.
People love to just say Joe Brady fixed the offense, but there was a massive amount of player development among the receivers, who couldn’t catch a cold the year prior, and the offensive line.
Brady did help modernize the offense, but it wasn’t like Ensminger was running a Stone Age offense. They ran a lot of 3-wide and 4-wide stuff with RPOs, it just wasn’t as extensive or crisp as 2019.
