It won't be worse, or the same.

If the offense takes a bigger step than our defense stumbles, we'll be fine. 10 win season is possible and being 7-1 or 8-0 going into Alabama week is likely

Well, I'm confident. WRs finally with some experience, Fournette in his 2nd year, our new blocking scheme a year old, and Harris is likely the starter.

Believe me, I expect him to have some mistakes, especially early on, but he's the most physically talented QB we've had since Ryan Perriloux. Now in his second offseason with Cam, getting all the summer snaps and most likely all the fall practice first team reps, he will be as prepared as we can make him. Thing is EVERYTHING in the offense around him will be better, all he has to do is improve along with it.

You speak as if you have been attending the LSU practices? If so, you can position your question as is. If not, you are a troll. Now don't get your panties in a wad. Additionally, QB play was a problem last year but not just because of the QB. If you don't understand the last sentence regarding QB play, I rest my case regarding your original question in your post.

Improvement across the board. We should have our best o-line and RB stable since 2011. QBs should take a step forward with Brandon leading the charge. Competition will decide who starts so we shouldn't count anyone out. I think with the hiring of Tony Ball our WRs will be better than last year and should have better technique and fundamentals.

There's no reason we shouldn't be able to move the ball effectively and score in the endzone. Everything hinges on how big of a step all of the young guys take. I'm confident that we'll be much better than last year.

What order is that?

If Arkansas wins we'll have a winning record against you guys over the last nine years.

So yes, order will be restored no matter which team wins.

Honestly, I think we'll be improved pretty significantly on offense.

well, we dont have a freshman starting at QB, RB, and WR this year, and we get 3 great OL back as well as our mammoth of a TE.
So our offense is going to better just because we were so young last year.
If all goes to plan, LSU will have the best offense in college football in 2 years. As far as this year goes, I could see us gradually improving throughout the season.

The last eight years. That's a pretty significant length of time for you to be acting like you are superior to us in terms of head to head match ups. Arkansas can't control what you do to other teams.

That just happens to be over the Miles era, (the guy that is your current HC)

which I'm sure is complete coincidence.

I like our O-Line, WR's, and LOVE our backfield. Also like the TE's and expect them to play a much bigger role this year. Honestly, QB is really my only concern. And how the transition goes at LT but I like our depth on OL.

I've got to admit, it's tough to come back from shutting a team out and holding their offense to 36 yards rushing.

If you were honest with yourself, I think under similar circumstances you would be melting too.

Try to have a little empathy bro, it will make you a better person.

It's been a pretty damn good series for a long time now. Maddeningly so. I've had a number of Thanksgiving weekends ruined by the Hogs. I agree with you that the head-to-head results in the last decade do not warrant any feeling of superiority.

Having said that, the obvious difference between the programs is that we've amassed some championship hardware during that decade and have also managed to stay out of the ditch in our down cycles under Miles. I also think our expectations as a program are way higher. The excitement generated by 17 - 0 kinda makes that clear.
