Not sour grapes. Last week after A&M took belt to azz, Drink blamed himself for everything including Elko calling a fake punt.

Then Mizzou beats a bad MSU team and now he's dissatisfied with corporate participation. Which is it? Is he not preparing his team or does he not get enough money.

Money hasn't been an issue at all. When Drink was hired, literally is on the tarmac doing an interview. He was asked what does he need to succeed, he said a new indoor facility. Done the next year. The man has had financial support literally from the moment the plane landed. And yes, im pissed, but I have a right to be.

Drink told him he has enough personal money. He is looking for more corporate buy-in and feels like it’s missing in Missouri.

CoPoraTE bUy In ...

He said, Missouri has 7 Fortune 500 companies..and NONE of them advertise here, as in the stadium.

He's negotiating, albeit publicly, for some advertising..and raising awareness of any movers and shakers that may have been watching...allegedly..as the announcers brought this up, Drink WILL BE ASKED at this next formal presser, and he can expand

That's it. He's asking if Missouri is willing to take the final steps to be SEC or not.

If not, that's fine. Be XII mayonaise. I'd go to Penn State too. Easier path in the B1Cupcake.

He has every right to shop himself, but I’m tired of his constant whining. Mizzou has been good for and to him. Let him walk.

Totally agree...Mizzou has been better for his career than he has been for our football program.

I want a very confident Coach, but lately it does seem he is over stepping a bit. He best self reflect and getting to the playoffs is in fact what we donors and fans want. Anything short of that is failure.

The players transferring without having to sit for a year bothers me much more than the coaches job hopping.

Is that because Lane Kiffin is coming to Gainesville?

I hate to agree, but yeah. Like someone before said, we've given him everything he's asked for every time he asks. We ran off an AD for him. Built him a brand new indoor facility. Built him a brand new $250MM stadium expansion. Ponied up the bag for NIL $$$. Sold out like 20 games in a row.

And he's still bitching that WE aren't giving him what he needs, even though he's yet to deliver in the big moments.

I'm a big Drink fan, but the last few weeks have not been handled well by him.

I'm there with y'all. This 0U game could have been huge, but between his inability to get that big win and his ability to flirt with other schools, it is what it is.

Fortune 500 companies donating to NIL isn’t the pathway to success. It’s Kensington Family Toyota and Johnson Trash Haulers and Cocos Plumbing (that’s the only one that’s real).

Seems like some Mizzou and Ole Miss fans are starting to realize this isn't actually a nEw eRa where they're real natty contenders, as some have previously stated.

LSU just fired their coach because he couldn't beat Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt anymore.

It may be too early to proclaim a New Era but something is different in the College Football world.

When's the last time Indiana, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, etc. have been in contention for anything?

He’s a good program builder. But he’s not some elite offensive mind to the point where he’s outgrown Missouri. Dude has had bad QB play every year except 2023. That’s on him. If this is true he’s showing poor character imo

This is the seminal point.

Drink’s flaw is not getting the QB right.

Non power programs have always had good seasons and been ranked high. Go look at the polls from 10 years ago.

You'll see Baylor all the way up at #2 that year. Mississippi State was #1 in the first CFP poll.

Now, suddenly, simpletons see non power teams playing well and for some reason deduce that it's all a result of NIL/portal.

Also, Texas A&M isn't the same as Indiana or Ole Miss. They've built a contender organically, they're landing enough talent to win a natty. They just haven't had the right coach until now.

What about Texas Tech? Built it or bought it?

Who knows

Maybe he was mad at the questions asked in the PC following the A&M game. If he’s getting overtures from other teams it’s easy to get frustrated if he does not like the questions being asked from his present team.
