He’s clearly salty UF lost and I understand why. Last week when they were #4 people were very critical of him and D1. From there UF picked up two more bad losses and they only drop to 8.
I have no doubt him and the other D1 guys have been hearing the criticism and were hoping they would be vindicated by a UF win tonight and series win this weekend. It’s only natural to want to be proven right.
But it’s super unprofessional to even interact with FSU fans like that when you are 1/5 of the people who decide the rankings used by ESPN and everyone else.
And yes, Florida’s ranking was ridiculous. People bring up SOS and stuff, which everyone understands, but we are now 5 weeks into the college baseball season. We’ve reached the point where what a team has done this year should matter as much or more than how good they are supposed to be.
Even rating indexes that do include preseason data (aka how good a team is “supposed to be”) have UF in the 15-30 range.

he knows what hes doing, but i personally would have ranked them just to avoid my inbox being flooded. FSU twitter brigade is relentless

Yep, it's a bad look...and I generally like the guy.
It's hard admitting that you were wrong when you're income depends on it...sometimes you take the loss and move along.
