I don't know where those numbers came from (looks like somewhere on Twitter based on the URL) but those look believable to me.
Basically, LSU plus the Mississippi schools and Arkansas lead the conference in actual bodies in seats.

Those aren’t bodies in seats.

I'm convinced.
Here's hoping your team wins every game after Easter, rock

Everyone posts on the rant about how great their attendance is and then go back to their team boards and bitch about how there aren't enough fans showing up to the games, or the fans aren't loud enough, or they leave early. Etc.
I'll tell you who has some damn good fans, Nebraska. Very nice people too.

Don't care what these BS numbers say. Our stadium is the best in the country and also better than Any Triple A stadium and likely better than any non-MLB pro stadium. not sure about Japan cause they are crazy about baseball, but I bet none of them have lofts.

1. All attendance figures in the SEC are for tickets sold.
2. Contrary to what State fans think, SEC baseball teams play during the week as well as on weekends.
3. I agree that State has the best stadium now. It is super nice and I congratulate them.
4. LSU Baseball sells the most tickets and thus is going to lead SEC Baseball in attendance figures.

UGA (& UT too, kind of) why aren't you supporting a winner? UGA was good last year too so it isn't a surprise.
Foley only holds like 3k people total. I’m guessing these are season averages? Athens isn’t exactly an easy drive from ATL for a midweeker or an appealing option for a weekend series against Presbyterian early on in the year. Attendance has been great so far for SEC series this year

nah. It's a really nice stadium and the nicest in college baseball currently, but you need to pump the brakes a little bit man

Yes

Some 'Husker fans made us some t-shirts in 2013 when MSU played for the title. Love those folks

Scary weather probably cost MSU 10,000 fans this weekend, which would have put our average up to OM's. We also had rain during the LSU series and it was a Thursday-Saturday series. That cost a few thousand tickets sold, too.
Still, I would have expected larger crowds at the new stadium. There have been some fans griping on the message boards about lack of seats for general admission ticket buyers. In the old stadium they could sit in the bleachers. In the new stadium all seats are sold out with season tickets, and GA can sit on the berms or stand in the concourse.
I wonder if that has turned off the fan who only shows up for a few SEC Saturdays. I don't know, there were always thousands who had no place to sit when we had crowds 13k-15k in the old stadium.
Either way, it looks like State didn't build enough grandstand seats. Had we built 2-3,000 more chairbacks, we might have sold all of those with season tickets or sold them as general admission for SEC games. Then our average paid attendance numbers would be 2-3,000 higher.
We'll see when we get to warmer/drier SEC/regional weekends if we can get more crowds >13k.

We have less seats now.
As for LSU fans
Yes it is the best stadium in the entire country and better than any triple A stadium. It's better stadium than Omaha. I've been there. You are just jealous. Starkville has 60,000k metro maybe 100k if you count tupelo. Baton Rouge has 800k metro population. LSU also has roughly twice the student population and twice the alumni. Not many can State folks can make a weekday hour long trip to watch a 4 hour baseball game. We have jobs. This isn't rocket science. You guys should be able to fill a stadium of 20k why don't you have a bigger stadium?

A&M has a similar problem. If we had more seating it would sell out with season tickets or early ticket buys. If they left it as GA then we’d sell more GA.

State’s attendance has been fine this year. Basically all of the SEC games have been 10K+ each. Had the WX been better this past weekend, then crowds would have been even bigger. Plus according to HailState our average is 8629 which is not bad at all.
Season ticket sales are probably 7K so the early season/mid-week games were probably around there.
Not sure why anybody would be contentious over this but all of the SEC teams outside Missouri are drawing well this year.
It is a collective good all around.
