While Texas A&M is scheduling the Clemson's of the world, LSU is scheduling cream puff teams like Texas Longhorns. W/L record last 10 years for the powerhouse longhorns from the best conference in the College-BIG12:

That has nothing to do with my point. Bama was a NC contender till the end; A&M wasn't a Championship level team last year (any really) but had they managed to win 2, (even 1) of the 5 tough games that's a very respectable 10-3 team that likely finishes in the Final top 10 above other teams with less Ls. That was my point. You can use a "tough Schedule" argument when you have at least some success with it.
I'll give you an example LSU in 06. They lost to eventual NC Florida and eventual 11-2 AU; both on the road; tough competitive games that LSU was in 'till the end. Still Ls….but they also crushed Arkansas and ND both top 10 10+ win teams. Several other quality wins vs Bowl teams. That schedule was tough as frick and LSU was rewarded by a final Top 3 ranking without winning its own division and with more Ls than teams below. That was a fine team should have won it all.

All kidding aside I just don't understand some Aggie fans. They talk trash like they make playoff runs yearly. They talk down on the big 12 but sucked in the big 12 hell even Mizzou had more success in the big 12. Strange fanbase.

LSU's whole season was based on Tua being a crippled handicapped QB along with numerous injuries on defense. Otherwise you continue your losing streak with Bama.
