Nope. You’ve got to own that one Gump. Alabama lowering academic standards to maintain the Charger budget.

No they were not a ream "divided". You've been listening and reading to commentators and low IQ writers. Alabama was a team too self consumed. They were too good too early and every other CFB team in America wanted some of the magic. 4 of the offensive coaches have gotten raises and promotions (3 to O/C and one to H/C) and were being courted for a time. They lost concentration as we all would and moved on mentally.

And as many as 10 UNDERCLASSMEN were being fed a bunch of shite by these hanger-on people who call themselves "draft experts" so they were rich baby and most were delusional. As a team they went backwards. A victim of success with the strongest back loaded schedule in the history of the sport! And coming off a humiliating physical beat down of Clemson who is damn good and had seethed for a year. And had basically a two game scedule if you can call ND a playoff team. I know this crap, that's why I called Clemson and stuck to it for months and right up to kickoff. It was too obvious. shite happens. You get beat.

I laughed at the jokes about how this was Bama’s 1/9/12, but conspiracy theories like this are eerily similar.

Here is a hint: t-bob knows what happened.

Saban got out coached and didn't have an answer. Even if you tried to blame it on the team being divided its still on Saban.

For the first time ever, I agree with your point. Some of my fellow Bama fans need to quit whining and accept reality.

so what does they say about the other 14 teams that Bama beat with a so called divided team. This sounds like the same shite from 2013. Poor pitiful me.

Got beat...get back to business and get better for 2019.

Salute to Clemson. You have to give the other guy credit when he kicks your azz. Ignore the losers of these other programs.

x10

Happens to the best of them, even to folks within happy marriages. This Bama team bought onto the hype too much, they took things for granted, thought they were unstoppable, and figured they had reached the highest point of the mountaintop . Now on the other side of the fence, we've got a Clemson team that wanted to be better than last year’s playoffs performers. Boy, was Clemson better. Sure, if Bama doesn't have so many huge mistakes, if Bama closes some of those 3rd quarter drives, if Bama schemes differently the game might of been different, but ifs are excuses after the fact. There worthless, what mattered was what happened, not a bunch of ifs afterwards. Clemson was clearly the better team that night. Their receivers were bad-to-the-bone, but in my opinion, Clemson's OL play shined the most. Though, I thought Bama didn't gamble enough with blitzes, maybe the coaches figured #92 would all-the-sudden go crazy? Who knows, but it was weird & telling how Bama didn't try blitzing more. That non-action by Bama's coaches showed how afraid Saban & company were afraid of Clemson's passing game. Saban probably lost sleep after watching Clemson's game film. Dabo made the right choice switching QB's, he was a nice addition to an already good bunch. Regardless, Bama should've brought the house like Clemson did sometimes. Let the chips fall where they may, Bama still got schooled playing safe anyways. Why not go down swinging? The facts, Bama's fans, coaches, and players ran into a Clemson buzz-saw that was the real deal and terrible preparation made things worse for many. Clemson already had awesome talent, but when talent motivates themselves to becoming better than yesterday, good things usually follow. This Clemson team was hungry, it showed.

Plus, it didn't help that this Bama team these past last two years never paid for their mistakes. A regular season loss (Preferred early) might have done this Bama team some good. The college football world telling them how unbeatable they were wasn’t the best motivator. This Bama bunch chewing on the possibility of no playoff spot instead, might have lit the needed fires, but who truly knows? One last thing, I didn't like how this Bama team reacted in pressers following this Clemson loss, their reactions say they might be in need of another slice of humble-pie. We'll see if this Bama team can do what other Bama groups have done after falling short of goals. This talented bunch has the ability to do great things with that kind of talent, but they could do everything right, and this Clemson team stays motivated while reaching another level. There's Bama & Clemson on top of the college football world right now, no one else is close to them. These last two seasons (2017 & 2018) both Bama & Clemson had their teams playing considerably better ball than the other one was, but any given year both programs could put together legit teams. In 2015 & 2016, both Bama & Clemson had championship worthy teams that were on a mission and this could happen again.

Bama -vs- Clemson has given us FSU -vs- Miami 90's type series here lately and I hope we get some more. It's been awesome to watch!!! The memories for both fan bases will have good & bad within, but that’s how it goes when your gambling at the high stakes table. The bad times aren’t the best, but when you land on red, that feeling is unbeatable! That moment makes it worth whatever pain you felt along the journey and to think, some fan bases never reach utopia. We Bama & Clemson fans are lucky, but who knows, there could be someone else in the shadows ready to make their mark.

We went backwards and got our arse whipped. Everybody has scholarship players and good coaches and the ball ain't round. That's why they play the games. You show up you get beat. But shite also happens during a season. That's why some good teams go backwards and some bad teams turn around. These teams are about 100 PEOPLE, not robots. Was no conspiracy. You must be a product of Louisiana public education. R_E_A_D if you can. Hint: It'll happen again. Happened all over the Nf-----gFL this yr with guys who do this for a living.

Good thing is we play the talented but goobered to the core LSU Tigers soon and will get some revenge. They represent your state and fans perfectly. Run their mouths, dumb as dirt with no clue, fail to deliver.

Nah, Bama was just arrogant, fat and happy.
Didn't think they could be beat.
Bama should have won this one, maybe even handily.
Attitude wasn't right, wasn't mentally prepared for someone who could bring the fight to them.
Didn't know how to get up off the floor.
