Tha hell? McCarron finished 14-for-23 for 226 yards, in split time.

Maybe so, but Kent St.

Anyhow, it was somewhat tongue in cheek to get a rib in.

I'm curious how these two respond to a packed house in Happy Valley against a better defense. I'll be watching.

24-10 Bama

Only way Bama faulters in this one is if they turn the ball over multiple times. They will dominate the line of scrimmage and wear psu down.

AJ plays most of the game and has decent, but not overwhelming stats.

Still concerned about the ground game because of the O-line. Hopefully guard play will improve and not whiff on so many blocks.

It's really bizarre to see so many of you gumps doubt your team. This is not your father's Penn State.

What about the one who beat LSU just a couple of years ago? I mean, I think Alabama will win. Like I said, I don't think we'll ever feel truly threatened no matter the score because I don't believe Penn St will be able to move the ball at all. But to say it will be a total bloodbath is a stretch.

I think it will be pretty close through 2 or 3 quarters. Like most everyone else, I don't see PSU being able to move the ball very well, if at all.

I think Bama pulls away in the 2nd half, and wins by 10-20 points. I'll say 27-10, something like that.

I think we'll see a lot more of Cyrus K at LT, and Jones back to his natural Guard position. Curious to see how much of Duron Carter we'll see.

They've had this one circled for a year. And 10" of rain this week isn't going to help either team.

Alabama will be up by 3 TDs until late in the fourth. Penn State gets a trash TD on busted coverage play against the third team secondary to bring the gap to a respectable 14.

If it is raining and the field is shite...close. Dry? Bama runs away with it.

Depends on how high the PSU groundskeepers grow the hay.

If it is too tall AJ may have trouble finding some of the short receivers

I keep hearing that "this is a different Penn State team," but I don't know how they've changed from last year. They have some guys returning, but who doesn't? I think they'll move the ball, but I don't see them scoring any more than 10-14 pts.

They couldn't kick a field goal to save their lives against the Sycamores. They even missed an extra point. Don't know what's up with their kicker.

The starting kicker was suspended for the first game of the year for something internal relating to alcohol. Something Joe Paterno handled in house, he's expected back for the Alabama game.
