He comes off as a pompous arse but he knows people. I would think he would get this right

Have we run the ball this half?

Coaching is embarrassingly bad. Can’t make it up

Yes, this year. MVB can only play in 2 more games before we waste his redshirt.

Two more if counting a bowl game. He's played in 3 regular season games so far.

re: Who’s your melt hire?

Posted by CAT on 10/27/25 at 5:06 pm to
Drink or Franklin

Lea would be boring to me but probably a good hire

Dabo would be a Woody hire if he's allowed to make it, semi melt here

Shepherd would be a mini melt; probably followed by some kool aid drinking and a Nicholas Cage "lets ride".

Would we wait on him after the playoffs? Let's say he wins the first round, are we waiting till January 2nd to hire him? By God, let's say he gets lucky and wins that one, would he even come at that point?

I just don't know if we can play the waiting game with him if all we have is his word.

This right here. I don't see LSU waiting that long with a handshake deal.
Now move Thompson to RT and put Mubenga and Echols at the guards

re: How bad is our OL going to be next year?

Will be improved because we'll have a new OL coach and probably a new OC and scheme.

We'll look back and ask WTH was going on, these guys can actually play.
Entire first two albums of Jodeci

Stay
Forever My Lady
U and I
Come and Talk to Me
Feenin
Ride and Slide

Couple others haven't seen

My My My - Johnny Gill
Weak -SWV
The OC has to know his personnel. You can have the best play design in the world but if your guys can’t play execute it then it is by default a bad play design.

Either Sloan has a disconnect to what this OL can do or these guys absolutely suck once the lights come on in a game.

Those film reviews by ex players are so damning on the OL and Brad Davis. These guys can’t handle a twist by a SE La DL.
You have 4 star guys that can’t move anyone and get fooled by the most standard move.

Mubenga isnt the problem. Josh Thompson is.

Both have not been good.

My best guess is Echols starts vs SC and never gives it up.

Tyree Adams needs to improve because there is no one else here

Hoping Moore will be fully recovered from his ankle after these 2 weeks.

Can anyone challenge Thompson? Is Solomon Thomas recovered from his foot injury? What about Tyler Miller? He got here late but another highly coveted recruit.

At this point I don't hold out much hope for this group. Whether it's scheme of Joe Sloan or Brad Davis the OL has not done well in years.

re: The truth on Nuss's injury

They were hoping it would heal up enough to only require a shot and finish healing this week and next.

If this is true, why would you not rest him for LA Tech and SELU? If they felt rest would help, there’s the opportunity to reduce his load, then get two more weeks during the bye. Again— IF true, the management of this is almost an unexplainable strategy by this staff.

Yeah this doesn't make sense. If he was hurt that badly, then rest vs. SELU

Best guess at this point is he was feeling better before the SELU game; he did look better in that game throwing the ball. At some point, either after the SELU game during practice week, or during the Ole Miss (pre)game, the injury flared back up.
This would explain BK saying he was doing better and healthy and then Nuss was unable to throw the ball down the field during the Ole Miss game. Maybe Nuss didn't tell BK he was feeling worse at some point during the week or pre game.

Best thing for Nuss looking forward is for all to come out and say he's injured now and he's either taking x number of weeks off or having surgery. NFL scouts can take that into consideration for next year's draft.

Best thing for LSU is to have a definite direction with the offense. If it's MVB, staff has 2 weeks to gameplan and add some wrinkles that fit his style.
Using the 1-10 scale

NFL- 3; maybe a 5 if Saints are competitive
MLB- 1; use to love it but faded away, will watch few games of world series
NBA- 2; I'll watch playoffs. Would be higher if Pelicans weren't a joke
NHL- 2; Same with NBA, playoffs only
NCAAMB- 7; higher when LSU is competing
NCAA football- 10; my top sport and its not close
NCAA baseball- 8; with ESPN and being able to watch every game is awesome.

How about an underground fence 1-2 feet from the wooden fence? We've always had the underground fence and has worked great for multiple dogs.

Mainly looking for ease of use and quality.

Wife (no pics) got a new vehicle in July so I went down the rabbit hole of taking care of it. Since then I've bought a pressure washer, foam cannon, and few too many products

So many videos on products being tested and how-tos. I really enjoy learning and its been fun in the short term.

Wife's vehicle is ceramic coated so it's easy; wash and use a drying aid with some ceramic in it, Tech Choice 582.

My truck is 10 years old and after washing I just used some Turtle Wax Mist wax. Was easy and it worked good and now after a wash I use Bead Maker as the drying aid. Water beads up great and top is so much slicker. I need to get a clay towel and iron remover if want to go to the next step but we'll see.

Washed the oldest's car when he came for a visit. Had some older Meguires spray and wax and I used that. His car hadn't been waxed in years but after the wax I added the bead maker and that worked good. I think the Turtle Wax Mist spray was better, paint just felt slicker.

If there's nothing on your vehicle I'd get the Hybrid Ceramic Wax from Turtle Wax. Wash, spray and wipe off and you're good to go. I think if you do that the second day it really prolongs it. Lot of videos comparing it to some of the top brands and it competes well with them

as you get older?

I laughed at this until about age 45. Now 51, a day of volleyball like we did over Labor Day weekend and it was a bitch Tues, Wed, and Thur. We go hard for 4-5 hours so its definitely something not done regularly; doubt a bunch of alcohol during the day helps either.
Feet get the worse of it nowadays followed by a shoulder thats given trouble off and on since baseball many moons ago.

I live in Lonoke county, maybe I'll get the opportunity to serve my community.

I know little about the case and would be an unbiased juror. :usa:

Echols played quite a few snaps in the second Q

re: Jardin Gilbert.

Props to Gilbert for stepping in and having a good game.
He did miss the QB which allowed one of their better plays. Him and Breaux took bad angles on the same drive.
