Dude I am not taking a cheap shot at bama.... I am saying that things did not materialize from your team.
Were you not shocked how much bama got dominated?
ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE - look at time of poss., yards, etc

You are right, we got outplayed. But always remember a Championship team reaches down inside themselves when everything is on the line and finds a way to win...not a flame toward LSU..you guys played lights out...

I just did not think that I would be saying this after the game. Bama's defense looked average. I offense could not get much going - running or passing.
LSU played absolutely lights-out. I don't know if it was Death Valley, the extra week of preparation or the fact that LSU has probably had this date circled since January, but LSU went out there and flat out tried to execute.
Bama's saving grace was a relative lack of mistakes, even considering the fumble.
LSU wanted us and we weren't prepared for just how badly.

thanks... agree completely.
Bama made plays to win. LSU made a few mistakes not to put it away. Bama had the last drive to win and pulled it out.

So did Bama, thanks for playing.

Nuss called a horrible game. The Bama offensive line dominated the LSU front and AJ was playing like shite. The LSU secondary blanketed the Bama WRs yet he refused to pound the ball.

I thought they were a better team. I and a lot of people were wrong. Bama is nothing but a paper elephant. Sure they have talent, well coached, but the image of bama is way over-rated. Gumps, you may not admit it here and now, but you know it is true.
So what you're actually saying is that LSU is vastly overrated??
Since we just beat had a gut check and overcame a hell of an effort from the #5 team in the nation in their vaunted house in their favorite nighttime environment, I'm extremely happy. I'm dumbfounded that we managed to win.

I was surprised we threw the ball so much,we were moving the ball pretty well on the ground.
Botched handoff really hurt, watch the replay the OLine had opened a crater for Yeldon to run through.
Hats off to the offensive line and particularly our tackles, who played a hell of a game neutralizing the LSU speed rushers

this is what i saw.
1. Mett played his best game to date.
2. LSU WRs played their best game of this season.
3. Jeremy Hill played as well as he has recently.
4. LSUs OL was able to get a good push on the LOS.
5. Bama's DBs had their worst game all year. Belue
6. AJ McCarron had his worst game of the year
7. Bama's OL was doin work.
its remarkable that Bama was able to get the win

this is what i seen.
mett and lsu played arguably the best they've played all year
mccarron and bama without a doubt played their worst game of the year
and yet bama is 9-0

I saw it and thought he would've definitely got the 1st down, may have scored they way they blocked it.

This is what I seen:
1) I wanted to kick my TV in when we kept bring the corner blitz on third and 5+. The ball was long gone before the heat got there every time. We needed to ATTEMPT to shut down the slants and quick outs.
2) Les Miles should get the game ball from us for those "trick plays".
3) The play call when we fumbled was atrocious. Faking the reverse/end around with the intention of just running it into the gut of the interior line was stupid, and I believe was a contributor to the poor exchange by McCarron. The interior line wasn't going to be impacted by the end around...just line up and run the damn ball.
4) Yeldon didn't get the ball enough. He was absolutely on fire when he was in.

The play would've worked though. Yeldon had a nice sized hole on the right.

But the faked end around was retarded. The blocking was there. Just do a standard handoff into the breadbasket without trying to fake the motion of possibly giving it to the WR coming around. The timing was off.
