Also Texas logic-
Our loss was to the number one team!!
(Please forget about our loss to 4-8 UF)

In 2011, Bama insisted that bad losses should eliminate a team. OSU lost to a 6-6 team (end of regular season record of ISU) in OT in road.
Bama had the “quality” loss and less games, so they clearly deserved to go over them.
Now Bama can ignore bad losses and focus on having more wins.

If it’s bama v Texas you just be right.
Texas has the most high quality wins since 2019 lsu, no other team has 3 top 14 teams in one season in the last 6 years.
If your argument is high quality wins that’s false, Texas has more than bama.
If you want to argue those wins don’t over come close wins against bad teams that’s an opinion

That’s factually incorrect.
Every sec team schedules a top 5 OOc opponent? I’ll make it easier I bet half the sec year in year out doesn’t schedule a top 15 opponent?
Sec teams HAVENT been doing this for years, a handful of sec teams have but the collective conference and the ncaa at large does not yet they are not punished for it
You misunderstood my post. SEC teams have been beating up on each other for years with much harder SOS than other conferences and then being compared to other teams at the end of the season by simply looking at # of W's and L's.

I did misunderstand thanks for clarifying.
You are right and I agree. That’s why Texas fans are realizing in the 4 team playoff era a big OOC win could be the difference but in the 12 team playoff the risks far outweigh the reward.

Bama goes in to UGA and beats them straight up on their own field.
Texas goes in to UGA and gets anally raped.
In no way should Texas even be considered over Bama regardless of the outcome this weekend.
I can’t even fricking believe Texas fans are so shitty they are making me defend Bama.

If we are playing what ifs should UGA if they lose should they drop behind the other 2 loss teams like a&m dropping behind the other 1 loss teams. Putting UGA at the 11 spot which they would miss the cut.
So help me out puppy fans

This wasn’t posted by a Texas fan. Read the op and it’s just a discussion.

I actually agree with ya, but uh...I was expecting the Texas fans to put up more of a fight on this.
They have been extremely well behaved this year I don’t get it

Yep. I'd leave them both out. But if I had to pick one, Bama is clearly, CLEARLY in over Texas.

Fair one year. Not fair the next. The argument seems to change depending on who the teams are.

UGA has more than one ranked win with 4 actually. A&M has 1 ranked win. Are they comparable with UGa having a top 6 win on top of that?
Some of the illogical arguments are amazing to me.

So if you think a SEECG loss should drop Georgia to 11th, then you are saying an SECCG loss should drop Bama to 19th. That I can agree with,

Not illogical as a&m would only have 1 loss and UGA would have 2. Simple facts nothing more.

Bama beat GA arse. Texas got it added kick. STFU. GA sucks

If Alabama loses the SECCG and drop out of the playoffs so be it. The reality is if we cannot step up and win I doubt we go far in the playoffs.
My only issue with being left out at that end is there is no way that 1 possibly 2 g6 teams should be allowed in the playoffs.
What I am tired of hearing about is the talking heads is who or how many ranked teams P4 teams are playing or winning/losing because even a loss is better than about any win a g6 team is getting.
The only way a g6 team should get a guaranteed spot in the playoffs is be required to play 3 or 4 P4 teams OOC each season and the highest ranked g6 team would get a spot assuming they have someone ranked.
No way in hell should NT or JMU get in over Alabama, ND, Miami, Texas or Vandy

Poor troll job. Can't believe any Bama fans are foolish enough to "help you out." If it's not a troll attempt and you really are this obtuse there's no help possible.
