Interesting that none of the five are in the playoffs.

Are you on the spectrum or just stupid?
1. There are not 5 players in the graphic, but 6
2. Jalen is QB for the #1 seed in NFC

He’s an alumnus, started for 2 years, and still wears Bama gear. Why wouldn’t they add Hurts?

Apparently leading Bama to two SEC championships and being named SEC offensive player of the year while in crimson isn't enough.

What else does he need to do for LSU fans to stop this tired schtick?

Idk, but if he wins the Super Bowl, Lew might as well go ahead and ban me. I’m going to go wild.

Hurts could win the Super Bowl and sing Yea Alabama on the postgame platform and that still wouldn’t happen

He's a BAMA graduate and says he's BAMA. Deal with it.

I have 0.0% issue with Oklahoma claiming him as well

I have zero problem with Bama claiming hurts. He very likely doesn’t get invited to transfer to Oklahoma where he developed as a passer if he didn’t play at Bama.

He claims Bama and Bama should claim him.

He actually developed his last year at BAMA. He just wasn't good enough to beat out Tua at that point.

He's continued to improve his entire career. If anyone gets the credit it shouldn't be OU or BAMA, it's all Jalen. He's worked his arse off every year and become the player he is today. It didn't happen over night or in one season alone, it happened over time and with a lot of hard work. No one works harder than Jalen. He deserves all the credit.

I’d go a farther: he developed as a passer greatly after Daboll left. Those two didn’t click for whatever reason. The Tua that beat him out existed for roughly half a season in 2018 and by the time Tua was hurt then Jalen got an ankle problem too. The 2018 SECCG highlighted his development from the CFPCG 12 months prior where he got benched.

Oklahoma essentially got a finished product as far as a college player. He just got to shoot tomato cans in the Big 12. I think he improved dramatically with the Eagles.

Jalen is a testament to having a grown man attitude and just never gave up on getting better.

Smart was a hell of recruiter and developer of talent for Saban and it clearly shows.

247sports has Smart listed as the recruiter for Fitzpatrick. Nobody else. Congrats.

You nailed it, really. We don’t have a choice. He was a 2 year starter, and won 2 SEC Championships for us and took us to 2 National Championships.

Hope you enjoyed the run. You’re in Georgia world now
