Does a DC really need help with stopping the option when given a month to prepare. It's on us. We should have concentrated less on the option or had different wrinkles ready to toss in. Bama beat us up front plain and simple.

They've finally found a conspiracy to run with, I see. Good for them and their happiness.

I got no opinion on this either way. I'm linking this simply for the meltdown of the dual Saint/LSU fan.

Joe Schadd is reporting that Kirby Smart said this himself.

I'm sure they consulted him on more than LSU's option, he was just brought up when talking about it. I mean, a heavily seasoned pro coach who probably had the chance to see LSU practice a few times.

Why wouldn't you consult with someone like that?

They/them ? Yes, ALL LSU fans nationwide feel betrayed by the Saints and feel cheated Monday night. We had no responsibility whatsoever to be prepared.

I think the question is why would a Louisiana based pro team want to help the upcoming opponent of a Louisiana based college team.

I like the one where the LSU fan said that New Orleans Saints are dead to him.

The option fails or succeeds based on who is running. JJ fails miserably at it.

Gregg Williams = Buddy Ryan Pupil

Ryan Family = Friends of Saban

That's my guess..

Some good ones:

quote:

if that's true, frick the New Orleans Saints unreservedly. They're dead to me.

quote:

I hope this is his last year in NO with that trash he calls a defensive gameplan... FU GW!!!

quote:

Love the Saints and deplore Williams....hope he leaves NOLA

quote:

That would be one ultimately fricked up thing to do. I can't see Peyton allowing it but if GW did that fck him to hell. Not that his f'n defense has been playing lights out anyway.

quote:

frick you greg williams

quote:

My issue with the news is centered around the same fans support both teams and therefore indirectly pay Williams salary.

I did not like the Saints before but hate them now.

quote:

Agreed. I hope the niners run all over his fricked up, 3 man front, no pass defending, defense

quote:

The Saints are a decent defense away from dominating the NFL. If this jackass is giving any time to a fricking college team, he's not doing his goddamn job for the Saints.

quote:

I hope the 49ers destroy the saints this weekend. I know it won't happen but one can hope.

quote:

If this is true, frick Williams he needs to go.

LSU fans wanna get mad about the game plan and option but the whole month leading up to the game EVERY SINGLE Alabama fan told y'all that that shite WOULD NOT work. And what did most all LSU fans say back? Alabama is too slow nobody can cover your WRs and Bama's LBrs are fat. Literally everything that LSU fans said about Alabama was dead wrong but now they wanna act like they are football geniuses and say Miles sucks. Pathetic.

I love the OP asking, "Is this legal? Does the NCAA have thoughts on this type of consultation?"

Like it's fricking agaist NCAA rules to discuss a gameplan with another coach.
