I only saw one blatant late hit on the QB and it was correctly called by the official.

Imo I saw 3-4 that I thought were late. It's always a judgement call on those really though. I got brave and ventured over to a couple of Hog boards a couple of hours ago and I saw people saying they saw 8-10 late hits which I thought was extremely high.

There was multiple calls that could have gone either way. Roughing the passer calls are usually judgment calls. Tough luck that AR didn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I'd like to see the replays of them so I can better judge. Didn't seem like any were bad to me, except the one that got the flag and it didn't seem flagrant.

Something that is not even in the flow of the game like the punch/shove to the face mask of B.JOnes on the sidelines after the play is much worse, I think.

Honestly I don't think the refs missed a single late hit. All of those hits but one were bam-bam type plays. I thought maybe there could be a helmet to helmet penalty that wasn't called, their refusal to respot the ball at the 1.5 yard line was terrible, and Arky got called for a holding on its only big run of the day while I don't think Bama got any holding calls. The refs clearly did not cost us the game or anything, but they could have definitely been better, but I feel like I say that after every SEC game.

I dont get mad when Alabama wins. It doesn't affect my day at all. I really don't give a shite about yakl
