Which part of that is made up?
Umm, the whole statement....

Since 2007, these are the number of SEC games played when the opponent had an open week prior to the game:
17—Alabama
Alabama has only played 10 SEC regular season games since 2007 where the SEC opponent was coming off of a scheduled "bye week."

The guy that approved this is probably the same SEC guy that didn't overrule the incomplete pass call on the field when Peterson intercepted that McElroy pass. What crap!
We got no relief with facing #1, & #2, Florida and Bama who both had bye weeks prior to playing us last year.

From the year 2007, thru the year 2010, Alabama will have played 17 sec teams coming off bye weeks. Which part of that do you not understand?

I too think that the SEC should move from B-ham. Please move to Orange Beach. Then I can drive over and have tea with Mike and come up with shite that will really piss the corn dogs and aubies off.

Now, that statement is Muuuuch closer to being accurate than his initial post.
But, nonetheless, it's still wrong. The number is 16, not 17. You can't count the Arky-Texas postponement, as it was not technically a scheduled bye week for Arkansas.

1—Ole Miss
1—Mississippi State
0—Arkansas
0—South Carolina
I hate that the SEC offices are always catering to Alabama
Over the last 3 years LSU has been called for a ton more penalties in the LSU-Bama game. It is complete bs. It is not possible for a power running team to never be called for holding. So GTFO!

I guess bama wants LSU to change thier open date , but wants to keep thier open date before LSU
B.S.
Another thing ,its time to rotate the east opponent, LSU will always have a possibility of facing Fla. TWICE a year, reg.season and seccg ,not fair for either team, and the season game seems to always set up a gauntlet of tough games with Fla. thrown in there. Rotate the east opponent thats played every year .

So then, if y'all are so experienced and great in these situations, what the frick is wrong with six more this season?
Also, since Darling Nicky's led you to 16-0 the past 2 years in SEC play, why fix something that isn't broken? BTW, where did you get the numb3rs for this? Thanks.

Judging by your list, looks like L$U ought to hire more lobbyists, or pay those they have much better, if they want to close the gap with Alabama.

Somebody's gonna get screwed.

Also, its plainly obvious that the SEC office MADE Les Miles screw up the clock management at the end of the Ole Miss game last year...OBVIOUS!!
Or maybe, and this is a little off the wall for this board, but MAYBE it all comes down to coaching ability...how to hold and get position without getting caught...where and when to call a timeout...what call to make in a fourth down situation...what call to make in a hurry up offense...how many timeouts do I have....do I have to use one on a change of possession....
You know, just skills....not conspiracy.

That is only 2 games and yall essentially had a bye with the weak sisters of the poor coming in before Bama. Lst yr yall said it was the key to winning the game because we would be cold after the bye and yall had a tune up game. Quit changing yalls argument to suit the situation. LSU fans are great at this.

Actually, a pass-first team is much more likely to get called for holding. You get called for holding in pass protection more than you do on a run play.
But I will admit that Bama's streak without a holding penalty is pretty spectacular. Saban teaches proper holding technique.
