Still......that is Alabama's problem. It is NOT everyone elses. Where was the SEC in 2005 after Katrina, when LSU had to play ten weeks without an open date? Where was the SEC in 2004 when Auburn was undefeated? Where was the SEC....oh nevermind....we all know where the SEC was then and is now....up Alabama's arse!

I hope Alabama loses EVERY GAME THEY PLAY, and EVERY MEET THEY'RE IN for the rest of eternity....and that includes bouncing quarters. frick Bama! ...and frick Birmingham!

So the SEC can control the weather What were they supposed to do exactly? LSU had to postpone games to the point where they had 10 games to play in 10 weeks before the conference title game was played and bowl games announced and final BCS polls released. As for Auburn in 2004, surely you realize the SEC did everything they could to politic for them, but again, how is Mike Slive supposed to change the polls?

What happened in the past is done. There was nothing we or the sec could have done to prevent us having to play a 10 game stretch after katrina. But I'll tell you one thing, we didn't complain about it. We were grateful even to have a season to begin with and be able to play in tiger stadium. But now that alabama is looking to switch around some games in order for it to be "easier" on them makes me sick.

LSU didn't have this same favor done for them when we had to play, what, 3-4 teams coming off of a bye week last season. Including Alabama and Florida.

So the SEC will switch some games so that Alabama plays about 3-4 teams coming off a bye week. Sounds like equal treatment to me. I don't see what the big deal is.

Looks like some of my fellow LSU fans are already building excuses for a certain overrated coach.

In 2004 the SEC permitted LSU to change the date of the MSU game for the purposes of a rescheduled bye week.

Why wasn't the SEC all over the BCS in 2004 when Auburn had their undefeated season? Whether you like Auburn or not, had that been Alabama with an undefeated season, regardless WHO they played, the SEC would have made damn sure that Bama was in the NC game....or at least they would have fought for them. They didn't fight for Auburn, they just let it go. Trust me, we all know this!
If Alabama had been undefeated in 2004, they wouldn't have even gone to a bowl game.

you act like it would be some huge ordeal to move on or two games around, as though it would be some major problem for a school to have a game 7 months away pushed back a week or something

Revamping a schedule does not include just LSU(or whichever SEC member)....it includes many scenarios.....the opponent to be played, their schedule and the teams they play.....do you even know how hard it is to schedule an OOC opponent for a certain date, much less, move that opponent to another date once the game has been scheduled?.....and all this just so that Alabama and Birmingham can be happy? frick Alabama and frick Birmingham! Sucks to have to play seven games with the opponent coming off a bye week....but then, it sucks to be Bama! Perfect match IMO!

Was the SEC up Bama's arse in 2002, when it declared Alabama ineligible for postseason play?

Bama is just mad because without football, all they have to watch/play with are their sisters.

Oh, I'm bad.....

But Greg McElroy has never lost a football game in high school or college. Should be no problem for him.

I hate that the SEC offices are always catering to Alabama
I hate Bama and wish for every one of their fans to have a spiked ball dipped in HCl shoved up their asses, but it's downright silly for this post to have been as ignored as it has been.

You have a short memory. Bama went 10-3 (6-2) in 2002, but they didn't go to a bowl game and didn't play in the SECCG, even though they had the best record in the West. Any idea why?

Never mind I miscounted Although Franchoine won the SEC West in 2002, but Albert Means happened so we didn't get to go to Atlanta

It's been ignored for the same reason a lot of facts are while discussing conspiracy theories, certain facts shoot all kinds of holes in those theories.

It's the same reason interceptions on Bama don't count. It doesn't benefit Bama.

Where was all that alleged favoritism when we sucked arse? Did the Bham office help us then? Hell no.

Seems like all these conspiracy theories only started when we knocked LSU and Auburn off their pedestal. Sore losers, you guys are.

It has been ignored because it is not an accurate portrayal of the facts.

Bama has faced 9 SEC teams comming off byes in the last three seasons (They can blame themselves and their OOC scheduling for the other 8 games if the 17 number is accurate). Bama was also coming off of bye weeks for 3 of those 9 games.

Edit: But claims of outright favoritism are overblown, seems more like incompetence to me.
