Over the last 3 years LSU has been called for a ton more penalties in the LSU-Bama game. It is complete bs. It is not possible for a power running team to never be called for holding. So GTFO!

considering Les Miles laid back manner this doesnt surprise me. If my memory serves me correctly Saban teams are usually very disciplined and not very penalized and I believe the same was true when he was at LSU. Hasnt this ben the argument for those that dislike Miles at LSU? He is too soft.

Total bullshite. Glad to see the sec office can be located in birmingham and not be bias.

what's next, complain that your opponents are coming off an easy ooc game?

That's the reason LSU hasn't won anything in the modern era of CFB starting in 2008. LSU needs to win some hardware or STFU.

I declare the modern football era to begin today... I also encourage the home installation of plumbing and electricity among the Gump fans erecting a giant mashed potato sculpture of Cody's last bowel movement

I've never seen so many butt-hurt LSU fans ever. Then again i've never been to Tiger Stadium.

Teams that had their Bye week vs LSU in the last 3 years

ole miss 07 - 3-9
Florida 09 - 13-1
Alabama 09 - 14-0
Alabama 07 - 7-6

Teams that had their bye week vs Bama in the last 3 years

miss st 07, 08, 09 - 8-5, 4-8, 5-7
arkansas 07 - 8-5
Auburn 07, 08, 09 - 9-4, 5-7, 8-5
tenn 09 - 7-6
LSU 07 - 12-2

The only good teams that planned their bye week for you was us in 07 when we won the NC and Auburn in 07 who had a decent 9 wins.

Although the numbers are in your favor of how many times teams have done this to you, it really isn't that bad until this year.

if you want to cry about mediocre miss st, tenn, and arkansas teams having their bye weeks before you, then go ahead.

and you can also go ahead and plan your bye week before the LSU game every year, because clearly you need 2 weeks of rest and preparation to barely beat us.

Does it really matter if the team is good or not when they are coming off a bye? That sort of thing adds up. This is especially true when six straight SEC opponents, including our three biggest rivals, are coming off byes. There is no way you can convince me that 6 SEC opponents having bye weeks before they play Alabama is fair.

it isn't fair, my argument is I'd rather have 6 mediocre teams coming off their byes compared to the #1 and #2 teams in the nation both coming off a bye.

I'm just glad LSU, Bama, Florida, and Tenn all play each other this year. Bout damn time that happened.

this should really make for some exciting sec football this yr and all of these games will probably be watched by the nation instead of just in the southeast.

yes point was made without all of that. DOnt like the sched think it is unfair should have been fixed sooner and rules need to be changed for the benefit of all sec teams. I have no problem with byes being the same weeks like Branigan suggested. No competitive adv for anyone that way, plus I could get stuff done around the house for 2 weeks of the cfb season.

Btw, I agree that bama should get this changed, but we should still get the bye because yall got one last year. In the future i think they should schedule two OOC games before the big match ups.
