And it sure is a pretty view here atop the recruiting rankings.

I'm sure Auburn thought highly of all those recruiting classes as well. Remind me of how that is working out for them.

Aggies have an inferiority complex and daddy issues with the flagship across the state. Now that their out of the Bevo12 they are projecting their issues on Bama

You can do better.

+1
This is cracking me up how many of them are offended at the very idea that Alabama and Texas A&M are similar in academics...yet that's the way the entire country outside of Alabama and Texas see the two schools.

I thought it was implied but I guess I should address it explicitly:

Chizik ain't walking through that door, either.

Dude, it's been one year for Sumlin. I will admit I'm as impressed with him so far as anyone but I think anointing him king of the coaches after one above average year in the SEC is a bit much.

What do the moon and TAM have in common?

Both are desolate places unfit for human habitation.

Both are in orbit around bigger, more important entities.

Wait, stating he's not Chizik is like anointing him the king of coaches?

Explain that.

Yeah, and Muschamp doesn't lose to Sumlin.

Seriously - there's nothing wrong with being proud of such a successful first season in the SEC, and deservedly beating the eventual national champs. But do you guys really have to overdo it this much? It's not like the game wasn't in question with under two minutes to go, or that you went undefeated in the conference.

I like A&M. You're a good addition to the SEC, and you beat us straight up on our field. How much mileage do you plan to try to get out of that game?

It's only been one year and I'm already sick of most aTm fans. I can see why the entire BIG 12 hated y'all.

Apologies to the Hogs, but A&M is the new Arkansas... They will always be next years national champions, but never this years national champions. I'm surprised they haven't started calling themselves "flagship".

Once again, sorry hogs...

Man oh man, it's going to be a helluva fun fall. The Aggies have gone full tFlagshippers circa 2012 before BMFP took a dive in the company ink.

Nice to see that you switched A&M and Bama's ranking thinking nobody would bother looking it up.

Bama's endowment is 630 million. A&M's endowment is $7 billion. A&M is one of only four land, air and sea grant universities in the country. A&M has produced a larger volume of cited research than any non-Ivy league school in the last 25 years. A&M has a top-10 average starting salary of graduates among public schools. A&M graduates combined control nearly 40% of the oil and gas in this country. A&M offers nearly 30 more degrees than Bama does. A&M has higher average ACT and SAT scores among enrollees.

Its like comparing grade school YMCA teeball to the New York Yankees.
