To be fair, Bama's AD doesn't have to run a top 5 department. And Bama's administrators don't oversee a world-leading academic institution.

Our guys are just letting off a little steam. No harm intended.

A good season for A&M is winning 11 games and finishing fifth in the nation.

FIFY, mostly because I want to set off a "LSU and Bama think every year that doesnt end in a national title is an utter failure" circle jerk.

Yeah, they've been pretty mediocre since the beginning of time. They just don't know how it feels to be a successful football program.

It's only been one year and I'm already sick of most aTm fans. I can see why the entire BIG 12 hated y'all.

A&M was a great team last year.

But that was last year, and it was 1 year.

Can A&M actually sustain success and become a consistent powerhouse?

History isn't on their side. They still have a lot to prove.

Which world would that be? The world of "The Rest of Texas Outside Austin"?

Alabama is a solid academic institution, but not upper tier. And neither is Texas A&M. We can argue about which is higher, but nobody credible would argue that either is top 10. So come on back down to earth.

I love the comments on the TR thread- at least people here aren't afraid to let each other know they're being idiots

Yeah it's going to be glorious around here when aTm falls back into mediocrity. But hey, you guys will always have academics.

I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean to offend you by suggesting that Alabama, a top 77 institution, is higher than Texas A&M, a top 65 institution. Please don't let my comments injure that Texas Aggie Pride in their Superior Learnin'.

Aggies have an inferiority complex and daddy issues with the flagship across the state. Now that they are out of the Bevo12 they are projecting their issues on Bama
