Have you made a single point in this thread other than saying our D sucks and the sky is falling?

There is way too much knee-jerk reaction going around for my taste. I'm going to wait until we get a LITTLE deeper into the season before I pass final judgement on the quality of our team.

A little deeper into the season? You play one other decent team. Your strength of schedule is below Boise st.

I don't want A&M's offense. LSU has a stout o-line and a stable of good rb's. I would take Mike Evans though

Oh?

LSU, Ole Miss, A&M, Virginia Tech, Auburn, and Arkansas are all either ranked, or received votes in the AP Poll. 6 top 37 teams.

Maybe do some research before spouting bullshite.

So basically until we beat Bama then will we be measured as a good offense or defense for that matter in your eyes

Not what I said at all, but congratulations on your lack of reading comprehension.

I am fully confidant that we will score all over that shite Wagon Of a Defense that the Aggies are putting on the field.

This is all I have to go, so your trolling, half-wit arse will forgive me if I am not quite convinced.

LSU so far:
Total O -- #36
Passing O -- #43
Rushing O -- #38

Against:

TCU:
Total D -- #59
Rushing D -- #57
Passing Yards allowed -- #62

UAB:
Total O -- #82
Rushing D -- #72
Passing Yards allowed -- #115

Kent State:
Total D -- #102
Rushing D -- #89
Passing Yards allowed -- #98

So, when I say that I haven't seen enough to convince me that LSU will fling the ball around like A&M I mean that not only have I not watched all of the games, but the teams LSU played are fairly pedestrian.

The FBS teams A&M played:

Rice:
Total O -- #56
Rushing O -- #26
Passing Yards -- #95

Alabama:
Total O -- #73
Rushing O -- #74
Passing Yards -- #19

So, based on these stats, LSU may "score all over" A&M's defense. The question is whether A&M will "score all over" LSU. If you think a game in NOVEMBER can be predicted based on the stats above, I have a bridge to sell you.

I know we can get better, but I watched Evans literally run by our DBS. I know that guy is huge but our defense isn't what it was last year.

Actually the guy who defended Evans better than anybody else last year was Fulton, who was out there again. It's Alabama's second game. It feels really weird telling an Alabama fan this, but calm down! Alabama will be fine and most likely win the whole damn thing again.

Nah, their secondary really is that bad. They should be worried.

6'7 explains the jump balls...but not him running 95 yards and hardly being touched...

He's not 6'7". And he was definitely touched, but it was the stiffarm from a 6'5" mean sumbitch doing the touching. Evans himself said today in an interview that if not for the stiffarm (which was excellent, btw) there was no way he was scoring.
