ZM and odb and Landry have a chemistry you'll notice Saturday. We toy around with people. It seems like cam has been calling plays to flex our muscles.

We run complex double move timing routes with nfl precision. Tcu has two cornerback that are elite. We were throwing passes specifically into double coverage. The timing routes are impossible to defend when they are executed like this.

We have the best OL in the sec and probably country. We have four nfl running backs and two nfl receivers and we finally have that nfl quarterback.

LSU is going to be a fricking machine in nov.

I still don't know why your saying this based off the first 3 games of the season...I would at least wait till the Georgia game to say that your offense is a "machine"

Watch the entire game Saturday. I know you haven't done so yet because no one has stopped our timing routes. We run the same play 2-3 times in a row sometimes. I'm not getting into a pissig match. Just watch us. You'll see it. Cam has come down the bayou and worked absolute magic.

I'll be honest, at this point in the season for us we have 7 straight sec games. The race is on. I care much more about how we match up to auburn. This thread is about Saban setting a defensive record this past Saturday.

Sounds scary. Sounds like LSU's offense could give some NFL defenses a hard time. Sounds unbeatable really.

Yay, more threads about how teams look after just two or three games!!!

LSU has reason to be happy - they haven't had an offense that even looked semi-competent for this long a stretch in ages. The fact it came against weaker opponents is irrelevant because even last year they looked like crap against weaker opponents, like Auburn.

We opened up against Tech, who played a seriously hard-nosed style of D. We went up by a few scores and didn't need to do much else. Our offense was fairly vanilla, but we did see issues. We focused on fixing the issues on the offense.

Against A&M, we racked up over 500 yards on offense, played a near perfect game, and our QB looked pretty dang good in the pocket. We beat the reigning Heisman winner, and we had none of the luxury of any tune-up games. We went from a hard nosed, hard hitting defense to a fling it around, score a gazillion points offense. Testing wrinkles and personnel was never an option, like other teams have had the luxury of.

We get one tune up game (CSU), and then we play yet another ranked opponent, Ole Miss. It's a front loaded schedule, and if we beat Ole Miss we'll be 4-0, with only one more legit threat on our regular season schedule.

LSU, after this weekend, will still have no idea how they match up against a good team. Auburn might be 3-0, but there are a lot of 1AA schools with a tougher SOS than Auburn. LSU will leave that game still hungry, and it will be UGA that gives them a first test - even then, UGA's D is talented but inexperienced. Will even they give some measure of how good LSU's offense is, or only let us see how good LSU's defense is? No one knows.

Let's wait for a larger sample size. After the Virginia Tech game there were many people praising our defense, especially our secondary, for the way they dominated a very bad Hokie offense. They also said our offense was beyond anemic. Two weeks later, everyone's saying our defense is shite and that our offense is amazing.

There is way too much knee-jerk reaction going around for my taste. I'm going to wait until we get a LITTLE deeper into the season before I pass final judgement on the quality of our team.

How dare you bring rationale into this rant!!

You're probably one of those guys who thinks everybody can beat A&M by doing nothing but running the ball, aren't you?

And you are one of those guys that think the Aggies are elite because they beat bama last year. It was a great win, but what else has your team done? You beat a shitty Oklahoma team in the cotton bowl

As I see it , Bama has a great team but their defense has definately come down a couple of notches from what it was last year. That's not to say that they still aren't a good defense, but they are nowhere near what they were last year.
A&M on the other hand also has taken an even bigger step down on defense. Rice and SHS were scoring at will long before Bama skull drug your defense all over Kyle field.

LSU' s defense has taken a step down from last years D also . At least it appears that way to me. We are weaker at LB,DB,and safety. However , we are a million times improved on offense. We all know that LSU hasn't had any real tests so far, but we weren't running the same kind of offense last year and you can even look at the cupcake games from last year and see how different it is. Mett is a different QB in terms of understanding and execution. So I guess all we can do is wait and see if a more talented offense can carry a defense that isn't as dominate as last year.
Maybe you haven't watched enough LSU games to see the difference , but I am fully confidant that we will score all over that shite Wagon Of a Defense that the Aggies are putting on the field.

Oh yea and congrats on Noel Ellis and Floyd Raven . What a couple of gems that LSU missed out on

So basically until we beat Bama then will we be measured as a good offense or defense for that matter in your eyes
