re: Bama fans, without referencing prior success, why do you believe you win this year?

Saban >>>>>>>> O

I saw "Night Game at Bahtawn Rooz" Orgeron trot out Tua's brother before last year's game and knew he had already lost.

Better head coach and overall Staff

More overall team talent and depth l.

Tua Tua Tua

Juedy, Ruggs, Smith, Waddle and Najee out of the backfield will be a nightmare

The OLine will be able to push around the ls8u dline.

Defense end rush has really gotten hot and will sack Burrow 5x.

Actually the overall defense seems to have found its footing, playing with confidence, getting turnovers and scoring points.

Early pressure will lead to an Int that sets up an easy score that give Bama scoreboard breathing room allowing the team to play freely and puts further pressure Ls8u and then the will to win and belief will dissipate.

Waddle on punt returns will keep Bama in good field position.

Home Game.

Mental edge

I expect an exciting game. However, If Bama plays its A+ game and gets a 2 score lead early then it could get ugly for Ls8u.

24- 13 Bams at half

45-30 final

I think your guys will have a hard time blocking Lewis. But even so, I still think it'll be a shootout. I think both wr groups are better than the secondaries.

I’m concerned about our defense vs Burrow.....but it’s been a lonnnng time since Bama lost to LSU. Hell, I’ve sent one kid through graduate school and have the second in undergrad at Bama now.

How many years have these assessments been right while yours have been wrong? Might want to chew on that...

As far as my answer, I think both teams are pretty even but I will give the large advantage to our pass rush being the game changer along with the mental edge.

I fully expect burrows to choke on the big stage just due to the pressure.

LSU passing - LSU
LSU rushing - LSU
Bama passing - Bama
Bama rushing - LSU
Kicking teams - LSU
Return teams - Bama

QB - LSU (would be push if Tua was healthy)
RB - push
WRs - push
O-line - push
TE - LSU (would be push if Bama's TE wasn't injured)

Secondary - LSU (slight edge)
D-line - Bama (slight edge)
LBers - LSU

Offense Coaching - push
Defense coaching - push

Intangibles - Bama (and it ain't close)

Am I wrong or are our receiving numbers off the charts for yards after catch?

Because the game is in BDS. I don’t think we would win this year if it were in Baton Rouge

You have look back at what is successful against what a Saban Alabama team does. A great mobile QB, an effective play calling OC, a stingy defense & a whole lot of luck. Oh and it helps a whole bunch if that game isn't played in Tuscaloosa.

I find it quite funny that either fanbase is smack talking at all. It's going to be a fun game for me to watch.

That being said I truly believe ED O is going to fark it up for the tigs. If he can leave everything alone and do his job as figurehead cheerleader master recruiter the tigs have got a chance. He won't. He's gonna think he really is a real HC. Did it at Ole Miss, has done it at LSU.

Ogeron's fingerprints were all over that auburn game.

This is absolutely true.

If LSU comes out running plays as fast as absolutely possible, giving no time at all for defensive substitution, with joe calling RPO’s at the line and running plays with 20 seconds left on the clock, we put the pressure on the Bama defense to have to play in base formation and put the pressure on the Bama offense to take chances because they have to score.

If we come out in the merkat offense, slowing it down to protect the defense, we lose. Simple.
I will know from the first series. We come out on fire like against Texas or Vandy, Bama is in a bind. We come out like we did against State or Auburn, we lose in spectacular style and get humiliated, wasting the best offense in LSU history and blowing it for joe to win the Heisman.

LSU has more sacks. bama has two players with multiple sacks, LSU has five. It's easier to account for two pass rushers in pass protection than it is for five.

You aren’t returning a KO vs LSU unless you bring it out from three rows deep in the stands...

LSU’s receivers are #1 and #2 in SEC receiving yards and tied for #1 in receiving TDs.

Congrats on the niche yards after catch ranking though.
