You might want to check Kirby’s Birth Certificate. Just like his Dad.

What do Bama fans think of Kirby Smart? I don’t think of him at all except to acknowledge the fact that he was a much better defensive coordinator than Pete Golding. I have nothing but apathy towards the Georgia football program which is why I find it so amusing how butthurt Georgia fans have been about Alabama until Monday night.

For a lesbian gym teacher, she’s a pretty good coach

I still see him as the same. Not a bama fan but that’s still what I think.
That’s just because you’re being intentionally obtuse.

What? No option to discuss the haircut?
Kirby is an excellent coach. Put in a lot of great work in Tuscaloosa and has done an equally great job in Athens.

Alabama fans just have a more mature outlook
I would have to respectfully disagree.
I'm old enough to remember back in the '80s when Coach Bryant left.
Perkins "voluntarily" left to take the Tampa Bay job amidst the howls and calls for his head amidst a losing season in '84
Bill Curry came in (after posting an overall losing W-L record at GT) and he "voluntarily" left to take the Kentucky job. His crime? Losing to Auburn for 3 consecutive seasons. Yes, the howling was loud, vocal, and ugly.
So, no, Alabama fans are no different that those of other SEC schools. They think their coaches "committed treason or were terrible, or were over the hill", etc, etc. just like everybody else
(And I didn't even touch on Dubose, Price, et al)

They won’t say anything bad about him. He will be the next Bama coach when Saban retires.

Who's? Nick Saban? We can discuss if you want.

You do know that UGA is Smart's alma mater? You did know that, didn't you?

Why would you find that amusing? Alabama has beaten us in key situations and games for several years now. Some of your fans have made us miserable with the constant trolling and criticisms about our team and our coach.
I think it is quite understandable for Georgia fans to have been butthurt about Alabama.

Loved him when he was with us. He helped us get where we are. Mostly does things the right way. The way he left put a bad taste in my mouth for him, though. Hope he suffers many file folder paper cuts before eating crawfish.

He’s our future HC. He will leave UGA for the NFL, fail and then end up at Bama after Saban retires. I love him.

A$$hole? Glad he's no longer the DC at Bama? Good dude? Great DC, sorry he left? Other?
Out of all the assistants to leave, I like him the most. He went back to GA and UGA where he's from and went. I commend that and respect it.
I was genuinely starting to feel bad for UGA that Bama kept giving them heartbreaks. I was pleased that he won it. It sure appeared Saban was bummed to lose for his players but happy Kirby and his staff had won it instead.
I like the guy.

Kirby's a damn good coach and he worked hard to get that NC trophy. Congrats to him and the long time UGA fans.
