I remember him being meh as a rookie

You have a bad memory then...he didn't throw a pass his rookie year...he was on the Non-Football Injury list until the middle of December...

quote:

not hearing much from him since.

When Dalton went down with an injury in '15, McCarron stepped in for the final 3 games, and performed well by all measures. He led 'em to 2 wins out of the 3, the only loss being to Denver in OT (the Broncos went on to win the Super Bowl that year). In the play-offs, he led the Bengals in a comeback to take the lead late in the 4th quarter against Pitt, but Jeremy Hill fumbled and the defense imploded, allowing Pitt to kick a GW FG...

When he's played, he's played well...but it's a limited sample and it doesn't mean he'll light it up as a starter...no one will know unless/until he gets a chance...

What is up with shitty posters on here always including the “laying on back laughing” thingie all the time at their own comments?

Do you really laugh to yourself when you type something?

NFL, who cares.

Went 36-4 as a starter in college with 3 Natty rings.

Your fellow fans, apparently.

These threads always follow the same pattern.

Someone brings up a former bama players shitty/mediocre NFL career, bama fans get upset and post meaningless college stats and/or gifs of said player to make themselves feel better, thread gets anchored.

Had next what? If we're talking the pool table, you have to put the exact right number of quarters on the side for your claim to be legitimate.

Mind blowing that no one wants to sign him to be their starter. Even Josh McCown got signed

If not for Tweedle Dee (Vontez Burfict) and Tweedle Dumbass (Pacman Jones), and the refs allowing a coach (Joey Porter) to come out on the field illegally and talk shite, then AJ would be 1-0 in the playoffs, unlike dumbass Dalton who is like 0-3.
