i would think Saban will stack the line and stuff the run, but not really bring pressure on passing downs. You want him putting that ball up.

Sunseri and Lester both have a pick that game.

Tyler Watts basically declared Bama the national champs just a little while ago on WJOX. Guess we can cancel the season.

You're basing this off 1 season of work, don't you think that's a little foolish? Bama can claim to plug and play because there has been several years as examples.

For all we know, the change of performance could have been due to the players having another year under their belt as there were a few freshman and sophomores starting the year before. It also could be because they no longer had to keep up with the fast paced Rich Rod offense, giving them less time to rest.

And they could actually be turning the corner to being a successful defense again, but to say it after only 1 season of proof isn't wise...

Philosophically after Rich Rod took over the began recruiting faster kids on D not as big as an atypical Michigan squad to compete with the shaky leg QB's (Pryor OSU, What-his-face @ Illinios, Daryl Clark at PSU)

Today the Michigan State D looks more like the Wolverines D of old

I love D-Rob, but he throws up some STUPID throws. Last year he just got lucky more often than not. Just look at the notre dame games and the sugar bowl against va. tech.

That Bama will lose and you can validate yourself. Probably, even say that Auburn beat them because Borges is the OC.

You say that Michigan's D can plug and play but you're forgetting that Hoke has only been there for one season. If you think it's going to be close you're sadly mistaken. After watching A-day, I can tell you that the Bama offense is going to pulling a lot of personnel changes on offense to confuse opposing D. As far as the Bama D goes, I can tell you it's going to hard to pass on guys like Belue, and Millner. Suneri and Lester are going to make things even harder after seeing what they did to just their own team. Think about how bad it will be if you're the opposition. And the way Hubbard was playing it's going to suck for the next 2-3 seasons for anyone coming against that guy. Add the experience of Mosley and Johnson and our solid D-line and I don't see much scoring going on. Probably won't be anything like last season's D, but it's going to be nowhere near the lack of strength of 2010 like most have been hoping. Enjoy the next few months of relaxation.

You're gonna need it.

How a defense like this could suck is beyond me.

Is that why I've said Bama will win in two different posts in this single thread? Seriously?

Hoke has never been a DC in his career, the guy running the D is a bald guy you will recognize Mathison(sp) who was at Notre Dame and Florida
