Saban still hates Michigan due to his Michigan State days so I won't be surprised if he doesn't let up and Bama ends up beating them by 30 or 40 points.

Much like the Penn State games once Bama gets a commanding lead they will go vanilla so they do not open the whole playbook for the rest of the upcoming schedule to see.

Anything more than a 3 td spread will be the result of the D providing them with a short feild.

You probably dont want that to happen.

It is all they have. The pocket is going to collapse before he has a chance to fire off a wounded duck. Treat him like UA did Tebow in the '09 SEC championship game. Always keep him in front of you.

To answer the OP, I think the game will look a lot like the Penn State game did last season, only Michigan scores more and keeps it close. Their defense should keep them in the game for a good portion. Bama wins in the end.

Saban who is not a MSU lifer or alum is not going to let a petty resentment email his playbook to the SEC but if you think so

Only thing is that Michigan is going to be reminded and told that they are going to lose to Alabama and have no shot at winning pretty much every day from now until the game starts. Not saying it will matter in the end, but they are going to be motivated to play their absolute best

This isn't pee wee football where people or some event has to motivate players. It's the 1st game of the season in Jerry world against a SEC team of course they will be ready to play. Won't matter though. Bama wins 34-10.

I am not sure whats up with the Michigan D at the end of Carr's tenure they were big, slow and inept at defensing a mobile QB.

I do not doubt Bama could jack Michigan's jaw but due to the early season timing I doubt it will be the same blood bath it would be in a Sugar Bowl meeting

Didn't Bama lose their best playmakers on defense?

Michigan's defense will be fine. I refuse to question that after watching their defense in 2010 vs the one in 2011. It was like night and day.

Bama still wins.

UA plugging and playing D players =/= UM losing their DL.

I'm not sure what Michigan lost, but I'm sure they can plug and play just like anybody else.

Bama lost Hightower, Upshaw, Barron, and Kirkpatrick that were the elite guys that are supposed to be hard to replace. Throw in a combo of Clinton-Dix, Sunseri, and Landon Collins for Barron. 2 All American Juco Corners plus Milliner and Fulton for DreSwag and Menzie. Dickson and Hubbard for Upshaw and Harris. And Depriest, Johnson, and Mosley replace Hightower well. Dline has 3 seniors Williams, Dial, Square with great depth. Not gonna be much of a difference.

I'm fully aware of all of that. My point was to hint that Bama lost pkaymakers too, not just Michigan.
