He got bailed out in 2009 and 2016 by having GOAT returners and special team players.

Congrats on the hire. Some of the most iconic kicking moments in Alabama history are a product of him.

I'm so happy he's gone. I have no idea why anyone would want him at their school.

He took a pay cut. I wonder if he was asked to leave

One of the best. A real bargain. Have him work with your kickers after practice. You'll find the results surprising.

He's a good TE coach.

I'd blame him for the kickers, but they were just as bad after he stopped coaching special teams.

We're just cursed at that position.

ETA - Saban loves him, if that means anything to you. Hired him at Michigan State, LSU, Miami, and Alabama. Saban's had him on the staff for a total of 19 different seasons since 1995.

He is the coach that found the weakness in the 2015 Clemson KO setup and was responsible for the onside kick that turned things around. Not great with FG kicker psychology. Other than that a good coach.

Clearly Saban kept him around for a reason for the better part of 23 years. I just don't know what that is.

He coached special teams and TEs for most of his time at Alabama. Until moving off the field last year.

He hasn't been a primary recruiter since very early in his time at Alabama. He was mostly the point guy on Midwestern targets.

Bobby has been special asst since 2015. He hasn't been an on the field coach since. I suppose that's why he took a part cut
