I don't know, from Bryant's last year through Saban's first year at Alabama, LSU was 13-12-1 against the Tide.

LSU does just fine against Bama as long as they don't have a Hall-of-Famer on the sidelines.

Btw, 7 of LSU's 13 wins came after the year 2000 and were a result of Nick Saban.

Prior to Nick Saban coming to LSU, the record was: 6-12-1 in favor of Alabama.

Nick Saban is 67 and outside of a quick hip surgery this year is in excellent health.

Even with the 44-16 beatdown, I don't expect Alabama to take a step back next year with Tua at the helm. Saban has always adjusted to the next season and hasn't lost more than 2 games in nearly a decade. I assume that he will continue to adapt to the changes of the game and the physical changes in himself as he ages into his 70s.

I dread the impending additional decade the rest of the SEC is going to have to deal with the guy.

LSU also went 4-9-1 in the years between Bryant and Dubose, so you can really say that LSU does just fine as long as Bama has a really shitty coach on the sideline.

They won't upset until they start losing more games.

Good luck finding a coach who wants to live in Sabam’s shadow. I’m sure everyone will jump at that opportunity!

The next guy will need a very nice offer to be willing to face the death threats that are sure to come with the job when he loses a couple of games.

With having more wins in Death Valley than you have in the entire series , I suspect it will be a LOOONNNGG time before LSU has bragging rights on Bama

He's like the architect on The Matrix bro. There is no retirement. It is only a matter of time before the world has to swallow the crimson pill and awakens to the truth. This is the great awakening.

? Don’t y’all have some things to say about your woman head butting harassing, bass drum beating, incomprehensible, alcoholic coach, instead of spending every waking minute praying at the alter of preeminent football dominance about Alabama?
Funny sounds to me like you just described Bear Bryant

Alabama has had 5 head coaches to win national titles at Alabama, and 4 of them won multiple national titles. I think Alabama will be fine......

The next coach may not last more than 7 years, but will win at least one national title with Coach Saban's recruits.

That's why I don't understand why LSU fans think Alabama is going to fall so hard.

Stallings showed that Alabama doesn't have to fall very hard for LSU to catch them.

If that's your hope and dream, then

Any coach who is worried about such a thing should keep his candy arse where ever it is. A real coach will have expectations that match or exceed the fanbase and ain't gonna give a shite what the fanbase thinks.

Not to mention all the $$$.

LSU is 24-53-5 versus Alabama. Maybe Alabama is just great at finding head coaches.

Huh? Stallings only lost once to LSU. Dubose even went 2-2.

So ~50% is fine when Bama is down?

At least your standards are realistic

Fan expectations shouldn’t bother coaches, and it wouldn’t at most schools.

But when those fans are inbred mouth breathers who’s self worth relies on the success of the football team?

Nah bruh.

Mike Gundy could win a National Championship if he were to follow Coach Saban. We will be loaded for at least 3 seasons following his departure. It isn't like we are going to promote our D-Line Coach
