He'll be gone possibly after the 25 season, definitely by 26 season. He's not cut out for this HC gig....takes a special kind of Coach that can handle the Bama pressure cooker, plus the cat isn't a disciplinarian nor a very good game planner. He inherited a very good group of players and a great recruiting class.
I would bet every dollar I have that had Saban been coaching this team, they would be playing a CFP game. Deboer has lost this team, yes Milroe doesn't make great decisions, but Deboer has had the entire season to pull Milroe and give the backup 1st team reps in practice and put him on the field. The backup couldn't be any worse of a decision maker than Milroe. Milroe was better when playing under Saban and it wasn't like the O line in 23 was better than the current offensive line...I mean Wolford was a terrible O line coach when he was at Bama in 23.

He will get 3 years minimum. This is a top5 team with decent QB play.
People said the same crap last year about Milroe and backups. It's been 2 different staffs including the GOAT that said Milroe is the best QB we have. We had a 5 star in last years recruiting class, but he transferred when Saban retired.
For all the Saban praise, Saban recruited Milroe, not DeBoer. DeBoer is stuck with Milroe as a QB and a system that he doesn't run. The offense you see this year is not the Alabama offense of the future.
I'm actually pretty happy about the direction of the program. Defensively we have been very stingy with the points since Vandy, and Milroe is leaving.

It's fine to think you could be a better team with a better QB. But you're mistaken in thinking you can get their via subtraction.
You don't have an improvement on Milroe on your roster. If you did either Saban or Deboer would have started them instead. They aren't stupid coaches.
Right now, Milroe is simply the best you have.
