Even with those, you still needed Travis to go down. The fact that all of these things worked in your favor THIS TIME, does not change the big picture of Bama football. If not for the 12 team playoff next year I doubt you’d ever make the playoffs again under Saban. He’s a different dude now. He was eerily similar to Les Miles this season.

I don’t play football, corndog gobbler. I’m not making excuses. Bama went 12-2 with a one-dimensional QB and barely lost to the best team in the country. I’m good with it.
