Relocate or postpone? It looks like Oxford and Tuscaloosa will both avoid the worst winds, but former will get hit with torrential rain just as the game is scheduled to start :0

I hope not. It might be our only chance

I feel like it should be pretty damn easy to relocate with little to no fans. Logistically it just makes it much easier.

Very short driving distance too, hopefully they sort it out by tomorrow. Was going to be a fun game

Move it to the dome in Atlanta

Can't. Falcons have a home game the next day.

Move the game to 11am. Should be fine.

It's rain. Grow a pair.

“I didn’t see anybody trip over a rain drop or a rain drop hit them in the leg or twist their ankle or any of that stuff.” - Nick Saban after the torrential down pour during the 2015 Alabama-Georgia game in Athens

It's not the rain per se or even few fans, it's the associated chance of tornadoes, lightning, flooding, road travel, air travel, all involved with final decision. If it's gonna be known in advance that most or none of the above will be a problem except for rain/gusty winds, then game will go on imo.
Relocating to Tuscaloosa probably won't work because T-town will be on the bad side of projected path.

No way they move to Friday on a two day notice

A November moving would suck for both teams

On two days' notice to whom? I guarantee both schools have been aware of the possibility of a Friday night game for a day or so and plans have been in place should all of those involved decide to pull the trigger.
I don't see how the teams would be materially affected by moving the game up a day.

Move it to friday night. This is the year to do it, hardly any fans would be there anyway because of the weather and traveling home will be better Friday night instead of Saturday night.

Agreed! I think it'd be awesome.

Friday kickoff please. Only other game that day was Louisville vs GT :/

If the current track holds, Oxford may end up pretty close to the center of whatever is left of Delta. That would mean the potential for 40+ mph winds.
